This property is a great option if you are wanting some beach time. Just be aware that because you are on the east coast, the sun drops behind the highrises and is obstructed by 2:30 around the pools and beach. I'm assuming this is a problem that a lot of east coast resorts have along the beaches. The Good - The front desk staff was AMAZING! I wish I could remember her name but the young lady that helped us several times was fabulous!! Also, the housekeeping and security team are great. A special shout-out to Reesha in security. I left my AirPod Pros behind when we checked out. Not only did the wonderful housekeeping staff turn them in, but Reesha went above and beyond to get them shipped back to me. So grateful! The food at the pool bar is great. We particularly enjoyed the guacamole! It's one of the best recipes I've had and there was plenty of it! Thank you to Nacho, our server who was THE BEST. Finally, the guys at the beach set-up are great. They have the most helpful and cheerful attitude! They go above and beyond to help you get set-up for the day and they continue to help throughout the day as needed. Be sure to remember to tip them... they deserve it. The Bad - FYI - The hotel is not a Trump family property. It's a franchised property that has bought rights to the name. However, the service was still great. The property itself is a little "tired" but still nice. It was disappointing that the lower level beach restaurant was closed, as well as the cabanas in that area. It gave off the appearance of a property that has seen its better days. The gym has terrible hours. It's open 8am - 5pm. Who wants to spend the best time of the day inside at the gym? Most people either workout early in the AM or late in the evening. With such limited hours, you have to skip breakfast and rush through your workout if you even HOPE to get a good spot on the beach - or ANY chair at the pool. I think they have done this due to Covid but logic would tell you that shortening the hours of operation only creates a situation where you have more people in the gym at the same time. Finally, when there is a resort fee added each day, there either needs to be full access to all the amenities OR the resort fee needs to be discounted to reflect it.…
Trump International Beach Resort is an outstanding place to hold a wedding, with first-class service all around. We were married there in February 2020, and found the venue to be intimate and charming, ideal for our small 30-person event and beach ceremony. The decor was lovely, the rooms were impeccable, with lots of amenities, and the cuisine was excellent. We were given a honeymoon suite which was just amazing! We were extremely impressed with all of the staff members who assisted us at Trump International Beach Resort, especially Catering and Conference Services Manager, Maria Cavanaugh. From beginning to end, working with Maria was an absolute pleasure. When we met her, it was clear that she genuinely cared about helping us and our guests to have the best possible experience, that she understood what we wanted, and that she knew what she was doing when it came to event planning. Maria was responsive to any concerns, willing to accommodate all manner of requests right up to the last minute, attending to every detail with patience and good humor. With Maria, we always knew we were in great hands! During the wedding itself, Maria went above and beyond our expectations, ensuring that the beach ceremony and reception went perfectly. Not only was she a source of comfort and happiness for us, she went out of his way to make our families and friends feel special. Each team member at this hotel is extraordinarily kind, friendly and courteous. Everyone went above and beyond for us and our guests who enjoyed every minute at this wonderful hotel! We will definitely recommend Trump International Beach Resort as the best hotel and best customer service experience ever!…
been here for more than 3 weeks now and the service throughout the resort has been amazing. From Sergio and the rest of the Valet team to Carlos & the rest of the crew at the pool bar and everyone else.
We came here when it first opened many, many years ago, have been quite a few times but have taken a hiatus for some years. One important factor to note is how utterly friendly the team is that works there. That is a great sign of people being happy in their jobs. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean. You can tell that someone is on constant patrol and going around re-painting/touching up scuffs on walls. The pools and beaches are remarkably clean areas too and well maintained. If there was one area I would suggest they make a change is that some new furniture at the actual entrance is needed; the four wicker style chairs are looking weathered. The food we had was great, and the dining is limited due to the "pandemic". But otherwise there was some form of food when you want it. Plenty of restaurants outside of the resort. A very special shout out to Phil the beach attendant and Carmelite (24th floor) housekeeper, they went above and beyond! My only cringe moment was the very loud DJ that was poolside on Saturday, just not my thing, but obviously others loved it. Will certainly return, without question.…
Great hotel, great beach, great service. The pool bar is fab, and Carlos, the bartender is the best! Best mojitos’ and he is extremely attentive with great attention to detail! Cant wait to go back next year!
