As Bayside was a COVID-19 😷 hotspot I was able to check-in at 12 noon and checkout at 1330 the next day. The reason for staying was that my partner was in St.George Private Hospital overnight,saving me the the long drive back to the Blue Mountains.

Some of the reviews I read prior to arriving were mixed, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect on my visit (work trip). I booked a Superior King Ocean View room which was on the 11th floor. It was beautiful! Separate lounge area upon entering, separate toilet and bathroom - the bathroom included a spa. The room was refurbished and exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable with nice, crisp, clean linen. I had a gorgeous view toward the city and out across the water. The airport runway is opposite (across the water) but the noise did not impact my stay or sleep. (and I sleep lightly). There was slight musty smell upon returning to the room after a day out, but nothing that opening the balcony door up didn’t fix. I was at a 3 day work conference and the catering was excellent. We were very well looked after. Bar Lvl 3 had a great vibe for after work drinks and David’s service there was excellent. Lots and lots of food choices within close walking distance. Overall, highly recommend based on the room that I stayed in.

An excellent experience at Novotel Brighton Le Sands in Sydney. I'd read mixed reviews so didn't know what to expect. Was lucky enough to get a renovated room on the top floor. Very nice room and amazing view. Check in was super efficient with Megan at the front desk, and the room service burger was great. Buffet breakfast was awesome and have to single out Prapa in the restaurant for her wonderful service. Platinum membership recognised with upgrade, 2 beers, 2 drink vouchers, chocolates and free parking and was made to feel valued at all times when dealing with staff. Left the hotel really wanting to come back for a staycation sometime soon. Very happy from start to finish. Have heard the older rooms are really tired, so I'm really happy to have been allocated a new one. A great stay. 👍🏻

A great stay in a King bed ocean view room in Novotel Brighton- le Sands. The staff have been fantastic, & a special shout out to Shen and Harsh at the front desk, & Albert at the bar. Food was great in the evening (bar & Bay garden restaurant have the same chef), & I recommend the ‘lamb klestiko’ Indoor heated pool sadly still not fixed. It would be great & an incentive to visit more in the winter months 😊.
