Really enjoyed the stay, great location nice staff and lived the lounge chair. Hotel is clean well equipped

Situated in Knox Street, Double Bay, a stone's throw from the swirling New South Head Road, the Savoy is beautifully located in the heart of village ambience.
Not only that, but the hotel is clean, friendly and affordable. What more could you want?
Small, cheap hotel. Stayed 3 nights and found it a bit sqeazy for space. Close to some
nice restaurants, cafes and shops. A little bit rundown but still clean. A bit of street noise
but not enough to interupt sleep.
The village of Double Bay is a delightful place to spend a few hours, if not a lot of $$$s. Staying there at the Savoy, allows you to make the most of a weekend in Sydney. it is close enough to everything in the eastern...More

Located in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, Double Bay is a one of the city's most beautiful harbour neighbourhoods. Designer boutiques provide a decadent shopping experience and dress some of the most beautiful people in Sydney. Sit down at one of the open air cafes for a latte or a meal and enjoy the people-watching. Double Bay was once an exclusive enclave for an older, elite population, but new
restaurants, late night bars, hotels and cafés are attracting a younger, vibrant mix, making Double Bay the place to be on the harbour.

Hi Alma, yes it is. cannot remember the room numbers but they are on level three of the hotel. There are also some rooms that face Knox Lane which runs at the rear of the hotel and they have a smaller terrace but the rooms are larger. There is a great pub across the road about 50m away and some great restaurants. I go to Sydney every couple of months for work, sometimes with my wife and sometimes on my own and found the Savoy last year after about 12 years of staying in different hotels largely in the CBD and Darling Harbour. Now I only ever stay at The Savoy and it is not down to value for money as I do not foot the bill but because the hotel is friendly and Double Bay is just so well located. Hope you have a wonderful wedding anniversary. Cheers. David

"Room 101 faces Knox Street. Don't select it if you want a quiet night's sleep."
