I travel to Australia on business and stay at the Killara several times a year and have so for the past 5 years. I have always found the place to be great value, good location near railway line and Kali and the staff there always make you feel like you've arrived back home.

Everything was clean, however, it is all getting a bit worn. You can see that it has had a paint job in places, however, very amateurish approach. Similarly with repairs - a bit rough around the edges and not a great deal of attention to detail. It is rated 3.5 star and it is 3-3.5 star overall. It is OK...

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions over the past 5 years. Its a great hotel in a fantastic location. Its close to trains, Chatswood, Restaurants etc. Kali and his staff are very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel has everything you need. Pool, gym, great parking, great location and great food....

Probably OK for the business traveller but definitely lacks atmosphere and it's a million miles from anything touristy. No public transport close by. Not much else to say .. It was ok .. Definitely a no frills kinda place .....

Stayed there with the other Granny and 3 grandchldren. We had 2 rooms. Very basic, but we expcted that for the price. 2 towels for 3 people in my room. I asked for another one, and was told they'd bring it over, but it never arrived. We still only had 2 the next day, so we used a beach towel...

Stayed 5 nights. No complaints about hotel but please be aware that the rooms have no microwave if you are staying more than one night and on a budget. Went to see if I could get one put in but they said I could come to the Restuarant on site and the chefs will heat my food which was inconvenient...

Very basic hotel, only thing going for it is the location. We (5 kids, two adults), arrived for check in at 6pm and were told we couldn't use the pool as there are other guests who may not appreciate the noise! I informed them I was very unimpressed with this and that the children would keep the noise down. We...

This is not the class of accommodation I am used too and when I arrived I was filled with dread, it looked like a motel. But the service was very efficient, friendly and helpful. I took advantage of the Indian restaurant at the hotel and had the butter chicken. Delicious! I had to leave early so they organised an early...

Have regularly stayed here on business trips for the last couple of years. Staff are always friendly and helpful, rooms tidy and clean, off street parking and lovely meals. The rates are very reasonable as well.

We stayed here on our way into Sydney and it was a fine place for an overnight. The room was ok and the restaurant onsite served great Indian food - they have a Nepalese chef apparently. We couldn't use the pool however as it needed a good clean and dosage of chemicals
