great spot for family's - my kids loved the freedom of not been stuck in a room, they had a great time exploring the grounds and just a quick 2 min drive down to Manly. Great having the two options for dining and the outside area overlooking the harbor was magic.

We had a lovely room with spectacular harbour views. The Boiler House Restaurant had lovely decor, beautiful food and good service. The hotel had good access by public transport to Manly during the day or it was a nice 20min walk down hill. Our group found the ghost walk amusing but the trek around the property did have some steep inclines....

We stayed one night at Q Station. I wrote a candid review on Tripadviser 7 years ago about our disappointment with this establishment and I want to say that under the new management the quality is now excellent. Q Station is located on Sydney Harbour with beautiful views. The room we had was clean, the bed comfortable, the towels, previously...

Badly understaffed it seemed in every area of the property, and mostly very poor staff morale with a few exceptions. Over priced rooms that feel like pub or school camp accomm, not even a toilet or shower in the room, walk to it like being at camp. No matter how many times the word "heritage" is used it doesn't justify...

We arrived earlier than check in time at 2pm and although the room was not ready our cases were looked after and the shuttle bus took us down to the quay where there was a cafe and museum to use. The shuttle bus is available 24 hours a day and takes & picks you up around the site to wherever...

This is an amazing place - the accommodation is the original accommodation from when the quarantine station was in operation with fantastic views - the buildings and contents have been well preserved and the grounds are great to walk over and explore. Also with doing are the ghost tours - we did an afternoon walking tour and then a ghost...

We went on the Quarantine Station story tour and at $35.00 each for 2 hours of history on the shores of Sydney Harbour I thought it was great. Our guide lacked a bit of showmanship but was able to handle and answer our questions easily and I hope accurately. The station is the old Quarantine station where immigrants with suspected...

My wife and I stayed here4 for 3 nights in October. This hotel is NOT for you if you like 5 star luxury. This is a converted quarantine station. The buildings are over a hundred years old! The room we had was good, but not luxury. It also has a separate toilet/shower block, with a bathroom and toilet dedicated to...

Very nice and secluded yet serene location. Took most of the pre-wedding photos at Q-station because of the magnificent views. Great room size and clean. Just the transit shuttle takes a while to arrive on peak times otherwise excellent and great service. Very grateful for catering all our needs especially on a momentous occasion. Exceeded customer service and was above...

We felt miles away from the big city although the Sydney CBD was in view. Rooms were OK, but lacking in luxury comforts. Having a hotel and conference facility at the old quarantine station is a great concept and interesting bit of history.
