We rented our apartment for a 2-week stay while visiting family in Manly. It was conveniently located within a 3 minute walk of the Corso pedestrian mall and 5 minutes away from the beach and the Sydney harbor ferry wharf. The 1-bedroom apartment was clean, spacious and full equipped for an extended stay. In fact, the kitchen had two refrigerators....

We are a professional couple moving to Manly. We decided to rent a studio short term for 2 months whilst looking for a long term lease. Staying at these apartments was the worst decision we made. Staying for the 2 months of August and September meant that we received a rate of $420 per week. For a reason unknown to...

Stayed here when visiting family in Queenscliff. The apartments are situated in the centre of Manly about 3 mins walk from the Corso and Manly Wharf so ideal for catching the ferry to Sydney. The apartment we had was on the 3rd floor, was well equipped and had effective heating, which, as we were there during the wettest July in...

We stayed here for a month in a deluxe studio rented through www.manlyapartments.com.au. so I'm not reporting on apartments organised through other people. Glimpses through open doors suggested that some apartments weren't as nice. Our studio was on the 4th floor. It was clean, bright and reasonably spacious. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had most of what we...

Our apartment was well priced and gave us a huge space to live in for our 2 night stay. Well appointed, comfortable and clean. Great location just a couple of minutes from the beach. Cheap internet is available in the convenience store opposite (you have to pay for a router in the room if you want access in the apartments,...

We stayed in the Waterside apartments twice - first time in December 2008. The first apartment was booked through Manly Beach Holidays. The apartment was basic but OK for the price, the main problem with the building was that there is a big aircon unit right by the bed in the bedroom which basically lets in all the noise from...

We stayed here as a group of friends for 7 nights, so we had a lot of apartments to choose from, they all seem to be individually owned but managed by a leasing agent. My wife, daughter and I had a 1 bedroom apartment located on the first floor, this was decorated to a reasonable standard and clean but the...

Upon reading reviews about these apartments my partner & i were a bit apprehensive, but it was very cheap so we thought we would just give it a go. I was pleasantly suprised when shown to my room, it was a large studio that was near new and it was furnished at a very high standard. I asked the apartment...

We stayed at the Waterside Apartments for 4 nights. The location is superb, with open air cafes, take-ways, souvenir and coffee shops right outside the door, and the beach half a block away. We had a nice balcony for out door meals including a BBQ. This is one of the better priced apartments, but it's in need of a little...

Staying in Manly

Neighbourhood Profile
Manly
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
