I recently booked two family rooms for my overseas relatives visiting Sydney. I was bowled over by:- 1) the price of ten people for ten nights 2) the friendliness of the staff 3) the cleanliness of the hotel rooms and corridors 4) the microwave oven, kettle, toaster, utensils and even an iron in the cupboard 5) the washing machine, dryer...

Very basic and dated accommodation. A bit expensive for what you get. Nice enough for an overnight stop. Close to public transport and shopping centre. Free wifi was excellent and unrestricted. Reception lady was friendly. Room was clean. And you can see Sydney CBD from some balconies.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review .I am pleased the accommodation suited your needs while in Shire. As you mentioned friendly reception staff, clean room, good views, free WiFi( that works) and great location. In regard to price, the rates are comparable in the Shire. Had a very pleasant one night stay here as we needed to be in the area for a very early start the next day. Rooms & bathroom are a good size, clean and comfortable. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful, were able to park on site with no trouble. You do have to be careful with the key cards...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your kind review, which is very much appreciated. Very pleased to hear my staff looked after you during your stay at Metro Hotel Miranda. Your comments in regard to the key card system and your opinion on the system was also appreciated. Unfortunately not every one listens and reads the notice in the lift. The...

Don't go there unless you have your own personal locksmith. After reception explained the rather delicate operation of the vital key card which allowed access to lifts and room etc . The fun started then . The card refused to operate a room, or a lift having us walk aimlessly around the complex . When I complained to the supervisor...

Therefore it must have...

Stayed here 1 night. Rooms were ready before time. Cant fault the room, we had a really comfy king bed. Plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and fresh cold water. Really reasonably priced and only a 2 minute walk to Westfield Miranda. Great location. Will stay again.

Booked according to reviews and was not dissapointed. It's not that flash from the outside but once you step into the corridors towards your room it's a whole new world. Everything in the room appeared to be New. It was clean and very tastefully decorated. Great amenities, and they are generous with the coffee, tea etc. Cleaning staff very friendly....
