We spent a wonderful fall weekend at The Edgeworth Inn. It was like staying with family. The owner Dede was most helpful and accommodating. The rooms were cozy and welcoming. We loved relaxing on the huge porch after dinner talking and laughing with friends. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle.

The bedrooms were comfortable and they were clean, so were the bathrooms. The owner was not there when the first part of our party arrived nor was anyone there to answer the phone regarding directions. The breakfast was the biggest disappointment. Again the owner was never present. We really were not sure what to expect, but did feel disappointed with...

If you like the feeling of stepping back in time, staying in an historic place, southern hospitality and graciousness the Edgeworth Inn is pure perfection. There are other places to stay near Sewanee, Tennessee, but this spot within the absolutely beautiful and quaint historic Chatauqua of the Monteagle Sunday School Assembly grounds is delightful. If you like an authentic old...

This Inn is in the back of The Assembly Grounds in Monteagle and it is a gorgeous place to stay in the mountains. It is quiet and the grounds are perfect for strolling and seeing nature, the beautiful houses, and sweet gardens. The rooms are comfy and clean and the porches are lovely and inviting. Great space and ambiance. Staff and owner were friendly and helpful, and knew a lot about the local area. The room we had, the Forsythia Room, was just terrific and we really enjoyed it. And the breakfast was scrumptious! Thanks for the experience.

As a last minute decision my sister and I decided to stay at the Edgeworth Inn. This is a very quant Bed and Breakfast. We were upgraded to a larger room, which we really appreciated. The decor is very dated as stated by other reviews but that is what makes it unique and we really enjoyed it. It was raining...

My husband and I stayed at the Edgeworth Inn over Valentines weekend. We had been to the Assembly many times before, but had never stayed in the Inn. We were delighted with our entire stay, start to finish. Dede, the inn keeper was so helpful with tips and suggestions for hiking and dining. We had originally planned to have our...

We stayed at this Inn recently. It is very quaint but the total experience was not worth the high price. Food was very sparse and not at all special. When contacted the owner was not open to addressing the issues.

The rooms were perfect, the food excellent, and the location is beyond description. We came for a conference and the conference attendees stayed at the Inn. We had Saturday night dinner at the Inn and the food was excellent and service impeccable. The Monteagle Sunday School Assembly is perfect for walking/ hiking in between conference meetings, and the surroundings are...

We were delighted with this wonderful inn located inside the historic Monteagle Sunday School Assembly. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished--and we were all impressed with the quality of the art that covers the walls of the inn. We had a great morning walking around "the Assembly" admiring the beautiful Southern architecture. What an amazing place! If you are...
