I stayed for three nights while traveling for a course. The room was a good size for my needs. The bed was comfortable, and the desk was a very good size for doing some study in the evenings after my course. The location was excellent for getting to the course venue. The staff were very nice. Everyone was polite and...

What a surprise to find a very well appointed, clean and friendly place to stay in Thornleigh Sydney that didn't break the bank. Very comfortable bed, fairly basic but there was everything we needed. TV, air con, tea/coffee, mini fridge etc.

We stay at this property often and find it meets our every requirement. We are greeted on arrival by the friendly attentive staff and immediately feel welcome. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, and we are assured of restful night's sleep. The rooms on the higher floors are very quiet and one doesn't notice the traffic noise from the...

Don't know who issues the stars, but giving the Thornleigh Ibis 4 stars is definitely misleading. Tiny, cell-like room, minute bathroom with large step to get into it, one very uncomfortable plastic chair, very noisy, no TV guide, no free wifi, extremely basic. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was good and the staff...

Once again stayed at the Ibis Thornleigh for work purposes. Had a conference to attend for a couple of days right in the heart of the city, but I prefer the ease of pulling into the Ibis - straight off the freeway - (I live on NSW Mid north coast) and then taking a 10 minute stroll to the train...

Booked this hotel for its closeness to the M2 and its 24 hr reception due to our very late arrival. Good hotel for an overnight stay when visiting Sydney, free parking, reception area very clean. Room was clean and spacious. Could have done with a PowerPoint beside the bed. Breakfast was good also. Will book again if we are traveling...

Breakfast, which was included in our room rate, was plentiful and finishes at 9.30am. There is plenty of The Daily Telegraph and Australian for traditional people like me who like to read newspapers. The free wifi was slow though. The hotel is adjacent to a huge McDonalds and despite my room being on the top floor and facing the railway...

Well there is no room WIFI or chair to complete work in room, the fridge was noisy, the AC was noisy even on low fan speed, no fly screens, breakfast had hair in eggs, Dinner took an hour and half to be supplied and was not at same time as business colleagues.
