We stayed 5 nights and felt completely at 'home'. Elaine a wonderful host and deft hand with breakfast - loved her specialties, bircher museli with comport, meats and cheeses, as well as the usual hot choices. Room very comfortable and spent late afternoons on the verandah, watching the bees in the roses and cottage flowers, perfect. A short stroll to... More

The new name "The Graces" the goddesses of beauty, charm and grace says it all about this beautiful B&B. It is nestled away in a quiet tree lined street yet a short walk to the centre of Beechworth. Hostess Elaine takes great pride in providing a luxurious relaxing setting that also includes homemade touches like florentine biscuits, prosecco & port... More

This was our first chance to have a weekend getaway this year. This b&b was just lovely. Great room, off street parking, lovely host and a short walk to the main street. Very comfy bed, champagne on arrival and port for later. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and lots of local produce to sample. Will come here again.

Elaine was very helpful in explaining the facilities and also advising on the variety and choice of restaurants in town. Everything was provided in the room and very difficult to find anything to criticize except for the shower temperature control. Average breakfast.

An absolutely lovely night at La Pausa. A fantastically clean room with a multitude of options to keep warm. Nice touches like local port and prosecco in the room to enjoy and a fantastic breakfast in the morning featuring lots of local elements. Would happily come back

This time in Beechworth we stayed at La Pausa and the hostess was first class and made us feel really welcome in their beautifully maintained residence. Room was good and breakfast was first rate. The port made available in our room was delightfull. I think they have renamed the B&B Graces which is fitting!

We have just had three nights at La Pausa, and have had a wonderful time. Our room was more that comfortable with an excellent bed and linen and the Prosecco, Port and homemade florentine biscuits were a welcome treat! Our host Elaine was warm and welcoming but never intrusive and was ready with great tips for the area each morning.... More

Beautiful lodging with antique furnishings. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful, with a good variety of offerings and served in fine china. A few local products available. Elaine was a lovely host, very friendly and informative. Close walk to the centre of town and all the shops, restaurants and pubs.

We stopped in Beechworth and were fortunate to meet Elaine and stay at her beautiful presented La Pausa. Who could offer us only 1 night so we stayed and had fantastic time chatting about the history of Beechworth and used her recommendations for a restaurant. Breakfast was sensational with eggs, bacon and all the other trimmings to go and we would... More

Beautifully decorated Victorian home in walking distance to all of this lovely town's attractions Our hostess is a mine of information and is full of interesting stories about the local history- including Ned Kelly! Great breakfast and the common lounge room with its open fire is a comfortable haven in which to relax after a day out.
