Let's face it, travellers to Belgrave aren't spoiled for choice. Belgrave B&B's price reflects this and might leave some guests a bit underwhelmed. PROs - central, private, friendly host, spa and pot belly stove, nice breakfast included. CONs- lack of maintenance and housekeeping. Pillow cases were dirty and had last guest's mascara on them, sheets had stains, shower head 'screamed'...

Our stay at Belgrave Bed & Breakfast was great. We parked our car and left it there as everything we needed was within walking distance, including Puffing Billy. The room was clean, tidy and fully self contained, set away in a separate building to our hosts. The breakfast supplied was excellent with more than enough food for the two of...

Wonderful B&B & right near the Puffing Billy & the town without being noisy. The breakfast provisions were huge & they thought of everything - mushrooms, eggs, sausages, bacon, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, juice +++. The only downside is you can easily hear the people in the room next door. But I would still recommend it.

I brought my partner here for his birthday and was looking forward to it so much as we both have been working so very hard. It was very cosy and the people so kind and lovely. Unfortunately there were a few negatives...not much ventilation so if your cooking you'll need to have the door open as the fans aren't great...

My husband, daughter (2yr old) and I recently stayed here for one night for a weeding we had in the area. We found these self contained cottages to be everything we needed, with that added touch of comfort. We found the bed comfortable, bathroom was spacious with a double shower n spa bath. The heater worked great and the lady...

We stayed at this B & B for the first time this weekend to attend a wedding at nearby Lyre Bird Falls. We were two couples (including a two year old) and we found the rooms to be very comfortable, light and airy and no problems for the toddler as the outside area is gated at both ends for safety....

Great location though driving out is a bit hairy with being right on the roundabout. Room was lovely and cosy though the shower screen in the bathroom was not particularly clean. Not much choice of food for vegetarians but I should have been more specific when booking. I felt a bit intruded upon as twice in my 2 day stay,...

My partner and I recently travelled on the Puffing Billy Jazz train and decided to stay close to Belgrave rather than drive back home after the trip. The Belgrave Bed and Breakfast was a fantastic find, only 5 mins from the P.B. station and added to the relaxing weekend. We stayed in the Golden Elm suite - lovely old-world feel...

Stayed in cedar suite, was nicely furnished and ample breakfast provisions supplied, easy walking distance to puffing billy and town. Owner , Dianne pleasant and friendly. What lets this B&B down is traffic noise and poor attention to cleanliness , there was mould in shower recess and on curtain near spa bath, for this reason would not recommend to family...

This accommodation was superb. The room was well catered. Beautiful basket of breakfast provisions - bread, muffins and the fridge was well stocked with eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and juice. Very clean accommodation and the communication with Diane (proprietor) before and during our stay was excellent. All our needs were met to a high standard. Diane even provided a surprise...

“Very popular so book well in advance. Also ensure you know the way to get there and where the entrance is....Monbulk Rd can be very busy and a pain to have to turn around and come back to entrance”
