This is a very nice place to stay because it is just a very lovely, lovely, place to stay. Nice atmosphere, great location. The service is good, friendly people, nice locals and lovely gardens. Very nice.

The Dukes B&B has been sold and closed. The Duke was on the market for a long time, it has been sold and it is closed. I do not know if the new owners will open it up again. there is some work going on.

This is probably the most charming hosted B&B we have stayed at. History seeps from every painstakingly cleaned brick. The 'laid back' ambiance, warm fireplace and plenty of reading material enhance the visit, as does Graeme's knowledge of the local area which he is more...More
