Peter and Shelley provide the usual hospitality one expects at a B and B but they did provide extras that made our stay more enjoyable. Food available in the kitchen if we wanted to help ourselves, freshly baked cake in the afternoon, and a heart cooked breakfast in the morning. They also have an extensive garden that is well cared...

This is a beautiful home set in gorgeous gardens in a terrific location within easy walking distance of the centre of Clunes. Our rooms were beautifully decorated (as was the entire house) and we had the use of lovely sitting rooms and a brilliantly equipped kitchen where we could help ourselves to tea, coffee, nibbles and freshly made cakes. Our...

Shelley and Peter are A1 hosts who gave us a room before they re-opened after some painting. Their property is gorgeously decorated and full of character. The gardens are very special, right near the river. Clunes itself is very characteristic of the goldfields and an ideal spot for a weekend or week long stay. Highly recommended!

We were looking for a B&B in the goldfields region for a quiet getaway. Stayed four nights at Keebles which is a lovely well appointed place with much more than you would expect for the very reasonable price. Peter was very welcoming, on for a chat at any opportunity and really looked after us. The rooms are very comfortable and...

Wonderful country style accommodation where the hosts are willing to go above and beyond to ensure their guests enjoy their stay. Comfortable rooms, beautiful gardens and a scrumptious breakfast are just some of the delights on offer. Definitely the place to stay if you're visiting Clunes or the surrounding area!

A mid winter escape to a beautiful country town was capped off with a wonderful stay at Keebles. With a roaring fire awaiting us we were made to feel incredibly at home and relaxed with a warm and genuine welcome with hosts Peter and Shelly. They are gracious and generous people. The property is historic but light, airey and clean....

My husband and I had driven past this lovely old hotel every time we came to Clunes and every time we'd sigh and say, 'We must stay there sometime." It never quite happened, until this year, when Jon turned 50 - coinciding with Clunes Booktown weekend - and so I grabbed the chance to book us with our two (older)...

Me and my family stayed at Keebles and loved it. We ended out staying at the house the whole time as there was just so much to do. The house looked amazing, the photos dont do it justice. My family will definitely be returning.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay at Keebles which is a beautifully restored former gold rush hotel (1863) set in landscaped gardens. It is perfect for exploring the heritage town of Clunes. I loved my comfortable room with ensuite which was very cosy in winter. Just exploring the house and grounds will take a while as there is so much on offer.

An amazing property! We were six couples getting together for our annual 'catch-up' over New Year's and we had so much space! Large rooms all with ensuite, comfortable beds, and so many lounge areas as well as the beautiful gardens. We all dressed in colonial garb and really felt we had stepped back in time (albeit with all mod cons)....
