Loved the cottages at Mt Sturgeon Station - isolated yet close to town. Great views and rustic yet comfortable cottages. No wifi or TV, which is great for unplugging for a while. Very nice cook-your-own breakfast is a nice touch.

Excellent meals in the main hotel, rustic but well-appointed historic farm cottage, to which we could take the dog. Bountiful breakfast menu. Surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery, plenty of kangaroos and walking trails. It suited us and the dog liked it too.

Everything is as you need at the Royal Mail. We only stayed there for the restaurant but the lodgings are worth it for the view. Comfortable bed and new bathrooms really helped bring the experience together.
