This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and it won't be the last . A quiet, relaxing cabin with everything you need for a enjoyable getaway from the city. The cabins are very tastefully decorated and the cd was playing on arrival which added a welcoming touch . In the morning you wake up to the birds chirping...

Beautifully appointed eco-cottages in a peaceful surrounding. Great views of the vines and mountainside. Local birdlife included water birds on the picturesque dam and king parrots feeding on the bush tomatoes. Detailed information on the native flora was most interesting. Highly recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was great to cook up breaky every morning on the BBQ! The staff were friendly and welcoming and the wine tasting was excellent. The complimentary wine and tasters platter was the icing on the cake. Definitely recommend for a couple of quiet nights away.

We stayed a night here on our way home to Melbourne, its only about 40 minutes from the city but completely rural.Check in was quick and easy and the cottage was great, very well appointed with a secluded location amongst the vines. Very quiet and peaceful. Highly recomend if you like a quiet break.

Very comfortable well equipped cottage on a winery off the beaten track. Relaxing quiet environment. Good quantity of Breakfast provisions provided. Could have been improved with the option to pre-choose specific food types such as low fat milk/soya and variations in breakfast cereals/ yoghurt/ breads etc..

My husband and I stayed in the Peppermint Gum eco cottage and really enjoyed our visit. The room was comfortable and the property was gorgeous (great wildlife - especially the birds!). It's also nice that breakfast provisions are provided. Know that this is different from a hotel...if you're staying for more than one night, don't expect daily cleaning service. My...

Stayed one night in these lovely appointed cottages with everything supplied. Enjoyed a glass of wine overlooking the vineyards and dam in the late afternoon, so peaceful and relaxing watching the bird life, etc. I totally recommend this accommodation if your looking for a city weekend escape or just touring the Macedon Ranges area.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Gisborne Peak Winery Eco-Cottages (Macedon Ranges) is a place where relaxation, luxury, sustainability and fine wine all come together. Each of the 4 eco-cottages are self-contained and sleep two people. They are nestled into the hillside overlooking the vines and the lake. Perfect for relaxing, reading, talking or just watching the grapes grow! You can always have a tasting of the estate grown wines at the cellar door and even help out in the vineyard with seasonal activities if you want. On Friday through Sundays the wood-fired oven cooks delicious pizzas, prawns and more to match with the Gisborne Peak wine range. One of the advantages of the Gisborne South location is the close proximity to Melbourne and the airport. No need to waste time getting here – spend that time instead settling in and enjoying the sights, sounds and tastes of the Macedon Ranges. What you get in the Macedon Ranges is honesty and authentic passion. What you get at Gisborne Peak Winery Eco-Cottages is all of that plus comfort, food & wine and relaxation. Why wait?
