I can't speak highly enough of this place; I've stayed here three times (always on the easter weekend) and it's always lovely. The staff are friendly, including Tim the owner. I like how environmentally friendly it is - they even have a compost bin in the communal kitchen.

One of the most beautiful hostels that I've been to in Australia. It's located in the middle of the National Park, a perfect location to discover the Grampians. We slept in a 5 bed dorm in a hut with own shower and toilet and even a double bed. Room and kitchen were clean. Tim was very friendly and helpful. There...

We had a great few days at Tim's Place, he is a very welcoming and friendly guy, he went out of his way to accommodate us and to make sure we enjoyed our stay. It was nice that he got to know everyone by name. You can tell he is really proud of his place and that is the reason...

Tims place is just wonderful. We were here for New Years Eve and New Year day. The house itself is quiet. Its very eco. Reminders everywhere and heating cooling system in place. We had a room at the end of the house. Two beds in room. Lots of room. The shared bathroom was up the hall. The barhroom had a...

My cousin and I had been meaning to make a proper return trip to the Grampians; she wasn't all that eager in staying in a hostel again and I didn't want to spend too much so we compromised and got a private room with a bathroom. What we got was really good. The Tim welcomed us and was a good...

We opted for a private room with ensuite and we were given a room with a queen bed and bunk beds :) What I like about the room was that even though the weather got a sizzling 39c at noon one day, the whole room stay incredibly cool, especially the floor! The room has all the basic, including a mini...

A nice place to stay, good value for money. I stayed in a private room, basic and with not much space to manoeuvre, but it was OK. I stayed in winter and the building is quite cold, but an electric heater is supplied in every room, making it warm quickly. The shared bathroom is clean and big. At night I...

This hostel was recommended by the owner of Torquay's backpackers hostel and definitely worth a detour! Tim is really nice and makes you feel like home. We got to taste home-grown herbs and veggies and just relax surrounded by cockatoos and kangaroos... The facilities are clean and nice to hang out, and it's close to everything you could need. Free...
