Fantastic location near the mountains and easy access to incredible trails with fantastic views. Breathtaking view over halls gap leave early to see the sunrise. The campground is a bit pricy but its central and close to all the small shops. Lots of animals in the area that come out at night time.!

I cannot recommend this place enough. We all loved our stay here, so much so that we booked again before we left. The kids loved the pool, feeding the birds and toasting marshmallows on the fires. The adults loved the peace and quiet with a big fire to take the edge off the night chill. You would be crazy not...

Stayed for 5 days in a powered site with our family and grandchildren, The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is any trouble to them. The grandchildren had a ball feeding all the wildlife and playing on the well cared for playgrounds provided. We have already re-booked 3 sites for next year for the whole family. what a wonderful...

I throughly enjoyed my time here! The private bathrooms and spacious camp sites are devine. Unfortunately we didn't get into the pool (maybe there could be adults only time?) due to the high number of children. Friendly staff, they even deliver a fire drum for $10 and supply you with wood if needed. Will definitely be back!

Camping is in a perfect condition! Wifi available near the reception might be the only downside to this camping! Unpowered sites are large, friendly staff, clean facilities. You get way more then what you pay for. Lots and lots of wildlife when the sun sets! People who want to relax: A lot of kids present, this is a family retreat...

Great park, clean facilities and well maintained. Very helpfull staf. The wildlife on the park is a great bonus. Clean showers, warm water. This is your get-away from your hectic daily life. So don't miss this stop during your tracking in Australia.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin with our 2 children, aged 9 and 11, and they loved the heated pool to play in and the trampolines for jumping away some excess energy. The camp ground is great for kids to ride bikes around and we got a fire drum and some wood and cooked marshmellows and toast in the...

We are regular visitors to Halls Gap, but our first time at Lakeside.. I wished we had found this little gem earlier.. We had a powered site at the rear of the park amongst the trees.. It was busy due to school holidays, but still relaxing amongst the trees.. The kids enjoyed the pool & we played cricket on the...

We stayed here in our caravan for 4 nights in the school holidays. All the accolades mentioned by other reviewers are true. It's great to stay in a park where the owners are actively working to improve facilities all the time. This place has everything you need - big sites, fire boxes, swimming pool, great kitchen - it's like a...
