A group of us (3 couples) from Melbourne decided to go to Healesville for the Picnic Races. We arrived at the motel & checked in to our rooms, then headed to the races. After our day out we returned to the motel with the intention of finishing our picnicking the lovely grounds. We were welcome to enjoy our remaining food...

We chose this place for its accessible facilities and handy location. The room was a little small, and the bathroom was fine for wheelchair access. No step to get into the room. Although the road outside was busy we found the motel quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Stayed 2 nights. Rooms are clean and modern enough. Our room had a microwave and toaster that can be used for the hotel supplied continental breakfast. There is no cutlery or crockery in the room if you wanted to make you own breakfast as we did, that being said we had our own so I am unsure if it would...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and we are glad that you enjoyed your stay. As there is limited room to have crockery & cutlery in the room; you are correct that should you have required any we would have happily supplied it for you. We hope that you will visit the Yarra Valley again some...

I stayed for two nights. The managers are very friendly and tried to sort out any problems I had. Rooms were large enough although they were very cold and needed the heater and hot blanket on to survive. Breakfast is a bit ordinary, but there are no real options as one must order the night before and choices are limited....

I wish to respond to your review so as others are not misled by it. The accommodation was booked by the company that was running the conference you attended. This company use the motel at least once a week for their employees. As they were paying for your accommodation & breakfast perhaps you should have told them what requirements you...

I stayed here with my young son to take him to Healesville Sanctuary and Yarra valley chocolaterie. It was late August. Staff were super friendly. Accommodation was clean but bare basic. Walls paper thin so was a battle keeping my son quiet in the early morning so he wouldn't wake our neighbours. The heater had been turned on for our...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We would also like to thank you for being so aware of the people in the next room that doesn't happen very often especially with people with small children. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and found the room to your liking. We must point out that the...

If you're looking for basic accomodation at an affordable price then this is the place for you. The room was very clean and staff were very friendly. We stayed for one night and it served its purpose. I personally wouldn't stay here for longer trips though. It did lack that homely feel I look for when staying away for longer.

Stayed with my mum on a mother/daughter winery weekend. Rooms were nice, comfortable and very clean - but you can't watch TV without complaints from neighbouring rooms because "it's too loud" when you can hardly hear it (TVs are wall mounted on adjoining walls). Wouldn't stay here again - even conversation noise is "too loud". Such a shame because the...

Have been staying here regularly for work. It's easy to book a room, check in is quick and if I'm running late Barry and Shelly will turn the heater on so the room is nice and warm on arrival. Rooms are very clean, beds comfy and no problems getting a good nights sleep. Highly recommend for a country motel.

From a very friendly reception to a friendly farewell, this was an excellent motel. The room was spacious, clean, quiet[ no road noise], good heating, a nice couch to sit on, a very comfortable bed with extra blankets & pillows if needed. Bathroom spotless. Microwave, toaster, jug etc for self catering. Recommendation for evening meal was to the Terminus Hotel....
