I stayed here on a whim, having read a lot of positive feedback on another website. This is attractive accommodation: a pretty room with a lovely, spacious bathroom. However, there is no breakfast option and - if you are staying longer than one or two nights - ensure you book a larger room. My room - at over 230 dollars...

On first arrival we stopped into the gorgeous shopfront at Mollison's. Friendly staff. We had a queen room for the night, well appointed and bed was amazingly comfortable. Heaters galore (Kyneton can get really cold). Tea / Coffee making (which we did not use). Hairdryer. Port (which we didn't drink) Hotel minis were cute, possibly insufficient if staying any length...

I had been meaning to visit the Kyneton area for a while now and finally did it. We loved spending the weekend in the area and really enjoyed our stay at Mollison's. Deb was always helpful and friendly whenever we had questions. She was full of great suggestions for places to discover in the region. Even if winter is cold...

We came back to Mollisons for one night and were quite disappointed with the stay. Firstly it's winter and the heating was in adequate, not enough blankets or even an electric blanket. The bathroom had a heated towel rack however was turned off & PowerPoint closed- why would you not have this for guests in winter. Then ants everywhere, at...

We stayed with friends in the apartment on the top floor of Mollisons and it was sensational. Other friends stayed downstairs in equally beautiful and comfortable accommodation. The purpose of our visit to Kyneton was to enjoy a cycling weekend and the many fine dining experiences on offer. The first day was warm and perfect for our activities. Deb was...

What a great find. Kyneton is a great base, close to all the great wineries in the Macedon Ranges. Mollisons is fantastic - beautifully appointed with a great eye, in a lovingly restored building that is respectful to heritage without compromising modern comforts. Too often the pictures online don't live up to expectations- how nice to have the reality be...
