Arrived at the Motel and the couple who checked us in were really nice - very welcoming and friendly. Room although clean and tidy was a bit basic for the cost. The toilet was a small cubicle open at both the bottom and top with limited privacy. I personally don’t want to hear my husband when he’s in the lavatory. It wasn’t till I came home and looking at TripAdvisor reviews that I realised there was a rooftop terrace or courtyard. Neither had been pointed out at check-in. There was one thing that really annoyed me. No wi-fi as they were waiting on it being fixed. I would think that in this technological age that wi-fi is a given, especially as the hotel is in the shadow of a massive mast. As I said clean and friendly but lacking in basic amenities.

David was the most welcoming host. The new refurbished rooms and exterior looks fantastic. Almost made our whole family want to extend our holiday. By far the best accommodation in Merrysville, and I don’t say that lightly. The beautiful birds visit the courtyard and the trees around the property are stunning. Rooms were immaculate and the beds incredibly comfortable.

My husband and I travelled to Marysville for a midweek break. The motel receptionist was friendly and welcoming and although she had no record of our booking she soon found us a room as motel was very quiet. The room was adequate and we were allowed to have our dog with us. The bathroom was poor as shower and bath in the studio room. Limited facilities. Outdoor area scruffy and untidy.
