Attended a 2 day work conference at this charming hotel. Fantastic food accommodation and hospitality from the owners. Outstanding. Charming decor, excellent position in one of Victoria's most beautiful towns. Will definitely be going back.

Room rather small, but clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed. It is after all a period property. Great location. On the downside, I felt it was absolutely overpriced for very limited facilities, having said that, it is Queenscliff and everything is overpriced.

This place is fantastic to stay, relax and feel apart of the House. It has an old world charm along with the modern comforts. Great location at one end of town and Helen & John make you welcome from the start. Ask them for local advice and attractions. Very clean and well stocked coffee areas. We have travelled the world... My wife and I spent two nights here before and after a friend's wedding. The premises are clean, quaint and each room is decorated differently - some rooms are larger than others. Our room was on the smaller side and we were aware of this and unconcerned. The hose was friendly and very helpful and checking in and out was... More

I stayed here for 3 nights on a trip to Queenscliff for some much needed R&R after a fairly traumatic couple of months. Seaview House was just perfect for this. I got a really good deal through Expedia, which of course always helps. Just had a standard room (No 16), but fine for one person (and still good for two)... More

This was a pleasant surprise although the rooms are small they are comfortable and very clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We changed rooms with ease. The restaurant La sale a manger is outstanding, we enjoyed one of the best meals ever. Staff were informative and attentive. Not a large menu but the food is excellent . Any one who... More

What a perfect place to stay as a base for exploring the this beautiful area! Helen and John are warm, welcoming and very accommodationg hosts in this lovely old hotel. My room was beautifully decorated in period and was spotlessly comfortable. The restaurant, Salle a Manger, prepared us a delicious gourmet dinner enjoyed by all. As there is much to... More

I have been a member of tripadvisor since 2006. This is my first real negative review. We arrived and the door was locked with no one to greet us. It took 15 minutes to reach someone by phone - until someone called us back. We were road weary and tired. This place is NOT charming, quaint or antiquey. It is... More

Thank you for your review and I apologise for not being at the desk when you arrived. I realise how frustrating that is when you have driven so long, however I didn't have an expected time of arrival, and needed to pick up some groceries before the supermarket closed. As an Expedia booking I agreed to forgo the second nights... More

Came back to this place after a 10-year absence. Much enjoyed; perfect for a lazy seaside holiday. Bedroom was not huge, but had a full-size bathroom. Not many powerpoints, but a power board was supplied to help overcome this. No breakfast with the deal, but half a dozen good cafes within 2 minutes' walk. Central location but also quiet. Gay-friendly,... More

Friendly welcome and helpful. Historic creaky house is well maintained and clean. Spacious rooms with comfortable bed. Close to centre of town for breakfast and the Blues Train. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.
