Came back to this place after a 10-year absence. Much enjoyed; perfect for a lazy seaside holiday. Bedroom was not huge, but had a full-size bathroom. Not many powerpoints, but a power board was supplied to help overcome this. No breakfast with the deal, but half a dozen good cafes within 2 minutes' walk. Central location but also quiet. Gay-friendly,...

Friendly welcome and helpful. Historic creaky house is well maintained and clean. Spacious rooms with comfortable bed. Close to centre of town for breakfast and the Blues Train. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

We had the deluxe room in this beautiful old building. Large room, big bathroom with a claw foot bath. Our own balcony looking onto Hesse St where all the action was for the rod run. Friendly hosts who remember your name and what room you are in. Free wifi. Close to all the shops. Walking distance to the steam train,...

Perfect location, lovely historic building, and rooms with antique furnishings. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom nicely fitted out, and nice to see period pieces in the room to create atmosphere. Sweet little restaurant downstairs also. Helen our host was very helpful.

I come here every time I go to Queenscliff. It's in the perfect location, 2 mins walk to main shopping strip. There's a little balcony off the shared living room that's lovely to sit on and I usually get fish and chips one night and eat it in the living room and watch a movie. There's a TV and dvd...

Our work Social Club which was a party of 26 had a two night stay over a weekend. Helen and her staff could not do enough for us. We had booked the whole house to ourselves, a great set up to do so. The accommodation style was unique and offered something different to the normal style. The efforts that Helen...

Seaview House is a lovely place to stay in. Helen and John are the perfect hosts. They are warm, helpful and most welcoming. They could not do enough to make our stay pleasant and memorable. The house is in a perfect spot within walking distance to the beach and shops. Queenscliff has a lot to offer for all and being close...

We visited over the new year and were not disappointed . Whilst our room of choose was smallish we still had plenty of room to move. The bathroom was large, very clean and strong flowing hot water. This old building still maintains it's features and air-conditioned for those hot nights. The public sitting area's provide a large fridge for your...

My husband and I stayed recently and found the Seaview to be quaint and clean. The service was friendly and warm. It was like stepping back in time. My surprise was to wake in the middle of the night and feel a presence standing beside the bed. I couldn't Talk or move for about a minute as I wanted to...
