Meeting the owners was a pleasant experience, very nice people. The room itself is what looks like and old garage the has been converted into two adjoining rooms but lack... More

Thia was a lovely place to stay on a winter's night when 'doing' the wineries. we were welcomed with home made biscuits, home made Renaissance chocs and local muscat. We pre-ordered the two course dinner which we thought we would have in the dining room but there was a table all set up in our room and a delicious dinner... More

Robyn and Neil are delightful hosts, and we had a lovely and memorable time at Renaissance. Robyn is a sensational chef and has very tastefully decorated the rooms. Clean, quiet and comfortable it made for the perfect country getaway. The chocolates are amazing - the hazlenut and the turkish delight rocky road were our favourites!

Despite some of the negative reviews, I'd have to strongly disagree with them! What a lovely stay, so tranquil and relaxing. Exactly what we were looking for! No noisy traffic or noisy neighbours. Our hosts were very hospitable, and let us enjoy the serenity of our surroundings. Yes its a good 15 min drive into town, but who cares, if... More

We were looking forward to our stay in Rutherglen area having heard such good reports about the town and area. The area was nice, but our accommodation did not rate. We spent three nights at the this Renaissance Farm B&B the Easter weekend. The accommodation was clean, a bed comfortable but the room was nothing like described on their website.... More

Normally I would not bother to respond to an empty negative comment such as this - but - this one has really got up my nose! Our bread is purchased from a local baker (we support local small business) we pick our own fruit from Stanley (berries) plus use our own fruit - quinces, citrus etc for our jams, jellies... More

The room was comfortable, nice bed, very clean. The room itself was cleverly converted from a shed however the potential feature of a little individual patio and surrounds had unfortunately seen better days. The B and B didn't live up to the pictures and information on the web site. Meals are no longer available for example. The chocolates are magnificent... More

Stayed for our wedding anniversary..... the room was very romantic, the breakfast was beautiful, the 3 course dinner was delicious and the home-made chocolates are to die for! Only 10-20 min drive to surrounding wineries, highly recommend!

Lovely room, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. TV and DVD player in room. Muscat was provided for us on arrival to our room. The cooked breakfast was very good (poached eggs and smoked salmon, pancakes with fruit, cereals, juices, tea and coffee). If you are looking for somewhere for dinner, the brewery is about a 10 minute drive. It's nothing... More

We stayed here in January 2012 and found the room pleasant and very clean. Attention to detail within the room was brilliant. The rooms are separate from the main house, giving you that little extra piece of privacy. The only time we were let down were with regards to gardening maintenance. Unfortunately you can see photos of how great the... More

Beautiful, contemporary, romantic room, on a bush property with well maintained gardens, good food, friendly hosts, and much privacy. Prices are slightly higher than average, but you do get looked after quite well. Quality cooked breakfasts, and dinners by arrangement. Much produce locally sourced, or even made in house, including the Rennaissance chocolates, from their own shop on the property,... More
