Smelled of smoke. Yet it was no smoking. The room was okay. No carpet. I liked that. The tub had no stopper so my water leaked out. Very sad about that. Night guy desk worker was really friendly, the girls were quiet not social. Location was good.

Apparently recently remodeled means new paint and carpet but nothing else. The furniture was old, stained and broken. The toilet seat was painted rather than replaced. The maid completely turns off the air conditioning each day so when you return that evening, your room is 85 degrees. Also, the maid actually unplugs the clock each day to save on electricity! Breakfast is minimal...toast, mini bagels and cereal only. The coffee is so watered down, you may as well not drink it. I approve of being frugal, but not insultingly cheap. There are 4 or 5 similar hotels adjacent. I suggest you try the Sleep Inn or Motel 6. I'm certain you'd get more for your money.

I arrived after a long flight and check in (and this may sound dramatic but I was so scared, the room was down stairs in front of the pool, the bedding was ripped and didn't look clean (I suffer with allergies and could tell there was a raised level of dust mite ) I went to the front desc and they explained that the hotel was fully booked so there was nothing they could do that night , I barricaded the door and slept (not well) fully dressed on top of the blankets.
The following morning I went to reception and was bluntly told by the manager that 'you get what you pay for' (one of my favourite things in the south is the hospitality, the reason I return, but this was not acceptable )
A friend of mine was staying upstairs and said I could share with them until the issue was resolved ...
The only reason I have awarded any stars was for the desk staff that took over from the manager who changed my room (albeit for a smoking room) but least it was somewhere that was inhabitable for the rest of my trip.

We had 8 rooms, 4 kings and 4 double queens, reserved 3+ months in advance, but a week away from arrival, our reservation was changed (without asking us) to 3 kings and 5 double queens. The man was deplorably rude when I asked that it be changed back and he refused to change it. With only one week, we couldn't find 8 rooms at one hotel, so we stayed at Econo Lodge. The front desk clerk was rude upon arrival in his manner and his tone. Although my credit card was used to reserve all the rooms, no one could check in until either I was there or the other person produced a credit card. Later, when more towels were requested, the clerk told us, "one towel per person is enough". The sheets appeared to be clean, but those who walked barefoot on the carpet wound up with filthy feet. The speckled tub could easily hide grime, as could the dark brown bed covers. If I could give negative stars, I would. Even if the rooms had been sparkling clean (which they weren't), the repeated rudeness upon every interaction with those in our party would keep me from ever going back.

Recently stayed in room 105 from October 29 through November 2. Rooms interior was satisfactory, small but clean and neat.

My major issue was a couple things, there massively bright parking lot lights shined right through the window and made the room almost impossible to sleep in because it was so bright.

But the major thing that I warn people of is that three of the four nights we were there there were many couples fighting right outside our door around 1 to 3 AM which in turn made it impossible to sleep. Seems very ghetto there and there was zero security presence. I have enclosed a photo from around 3 AM in our room the flash was not on. Avoid at all costs as you will be disappointed.

The room was filthy. When we arrived around 3:30 PM the room had still not been cleaned even though check-in time was at 2. Sheets were covered in stains and holes. The staff was also very unprofessional. Last but not least - I woke up the next morning covered in bed bug bites. It's a wonder a place like this can even stay in business.

Upon arrival to the room, it reeked overwhelmingly of marijuana. We went down and asked at reception if there was another room available. There wasn't and the receptionist gave us some air freshener spray to try. I'm pretty sure the people in the room next door were smoking weed at the time, because even our attempts to air out the room did not help the smell at all. There was no way we could have slept if we'd stayed there, so we called around until we had found a room in another hotel. The night employee (night, May 27) was sympathetic, but was unable to find us another room or help us get a refund. She told us to come back by the next day and talk to "Nick" the manager for a refund. We made an extra trip back to the hotel the next morning to talk to him, and he was unbelievably unhelpful. He told us that it had already been refunded (total lie) and that they were not obligated to give us a refund anyway because we chose to leave after checking in. So we called hotels.com, and they negotiated with Nick for a bit and I think he was obstinate with them as well, because hotels.com came back to me and essentially said that they couldn't get anywhere with him so they would just give me a "one time exception" refund from their end. Yay for hotels.com for characteristically great customer service. Boo for econolodge Nashville airport for nonexistent customer service, for lying to your customers, and for hiring people who can't communicate with customers.

I was hesitant to stay at this hotel because of the reviews but decided to go against it and stay anyway. First of all, the manager, Nick Patel, was the greatest. He was very attentive to my needs and was the absolute friendlies that I had encountered in that area. I have stayed at two other hotels in that same area and wasn't treated as kindly as he treated me. I didn't want to stay upstairs so asked for a non-smoking downstairs. None were available so I opted for a smoking. This wasn't a great idea because the smell was a little overwhelming but I chose to stay, so I can't complain. Otherwise, the room and bed was comfortable, the whitest sheets I had ever seen in a budget hotel, no stains, no residual hair from previous guests, clean bathroom, clean carpet, except for the occasional burn from the previous smokers, and it was rather quiet. I checked out early due to a flash flood warning and checkout was a breeze. He gave me the correct refund that was reflected not many days later in my account. I will stay here again if I come back to Nashville.
