Husband and I spent a few days at the Wyndham in building 19. One bedroom condo with full kitchen was recently renovated, clean and accommodating to our needs. Short drive down street to Opreyhouse and mall. 15min to downtown.

My wife and I just spent seven days at Wyndham Nashville and here is the good, the bad and the really ugly:
+ Great location. Near the Grand Ole Opry, a nice mall, museums and only about 15 minutes to downtown.

We were not aware of any cleaning fee, but I also went through an owner a year in advance to get my reservation. Apparently they gave us a really nice deal because it appeared to be cheaper than what incoming guests were paying. I would recommend a ground floor room which has less steps to deal with. There were several buildings close to the welcome center. We stayed in building 19 and had a view of the marsh. The deer came out and played and grazed every morning. Our view from the 4th floor was really cool. The place to take the trash was not hard to get to and we never asked for any kind of house keeping. We washed our own sheets and towels but this was our preference. Our biggest issues were maintenance type and the company made sure all was taken care of. We really did enjoy ourselves so I hope that you will too! Oh, if you are short in stature take along a sturdy step ladder or call and ask if they have one you can use. The cabinets in the kitchen were a bit tall for anyone in my party. Once we could get a few dishes down, we left them on the island where we could reach them easily. The social calendar has a lot of things to do depending on what you're interests are. My niece loved the snow cone, pop corn and ice cream options. I loved the indoor pool. If you want to go downtown they offer a shuttle. My husband and I did one of the city tours with Greyline and they picked us up from and brought us back to the welcome center. I only took the back road to the mall, The Opryland convention center and the grocery store (Publix). To park at the convention center is $29.00 so we parked on mall property. Then traffic was not something I was ready for so a few things we planned were scrapped but in the bigger picture we had a fantastic time. Be aware of the many offers of free food that will take 90 minutes of your time from the concierge desk. You can't avoid them as you have to go there to get you're parking pass. If you or your traveling party is not up for a long presentation, avoid it. We did not give up our time for the presentation and we could not have afforded to buy one anyway. They are persistent so hence the warning. Oh, FYI, be sure and have your id when you are in the welcome center, they ask for it a lot, and when checking in, make sure the card you are using for the incidental fees ($100.00) has your name on it (if it is different than the card you are using for check in).
