Nothing is cheap these days in Nashville, in this cases relatively expensive $127 per night does live up to Days Inns standards. Place needs help but owners try, property is in shambles. Includes breakfast and linens are fresh.

Not very nice accommodations ! Building run down and dated. Service was terrible, what little we had. Continental breakfast was sub par, and you had to eat in your room, no coffee one morning and no decaf at all. Didn't clean room, make beds or leave towels, had to go to front desk and ask for them. Hike rates up for weekends but service goes down !!! Location decent, about all I have to say in favor of this stay !

I cannot recommend this Days Inn, mainly because they have key card issues. Their key card locks have to be replaced, or their coding equipment needs updating, or the batteries in the key card locks have to be replaced regularly, or all of the above. We checked into one room and couldn't get in, then we were switched to another room and had persistent problems getting in. At the front desk they would repeatedly try to code a key card with little success. It was extremely frustrating, and I know other hotel guests were having the same problem. Finally the desk attendant was able to replace the batteries in the lock and got us into our room after we spent an otherwise lovely day touring Nashville. And fortunately when we got back from dinner later that evening, the key worked without any problem. Yet the next morning, the key card didn't work. Go figure.

The phones didn't work. I was told that the hotel phone system was "messed up." There were no facial tissues in the tissue dispenser.

On a plus note, the water pressure in the shower was decent, the Wifi was decent, the air conditioning worked, and the TV had an adequate channel lineup.

But overall hotel maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. Batteries in locks have to be replaced. Key coding has to be upgraded. The place is relatively inexpensive, but that's not much comfort for a lot of pissed off customers.

My brother and I wanted a clean comfortable place to stay while our dad was in Vanderbilt Hospital. I hate being negative but this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Stayed at Days Inn couple times over the years and I’ll swear I don’t think this one has been updated in 30 years. As we entered our room the odor liked to have took my breath.
Ad says free breakfast. Consisted of cold coffee, I told the lady employee and she said that “there’s the microwave” Spend the extra bucks and do not stay here.

Disgusting roach hotel! Worst costumer service. There were bugs crawling in the bed and the sink was very dirty. The toilet has some marks on it. There were black molds and rust in the shower.the black lady who was preparing the included breakfast was smoking while preparing the food. We were so disgusted that we leave very early. The lady who smokes while making breakfast should be fired. She obviouly has no reason to smoke while making food for breakfast for the hotel costumers.

Not very clean. Would not stay here unless price is $60 or less. Its in a great location however the upkeep of the guest rooms are not good. The free breakfast is not worth it either so please do not think you are staying because it offers breakfast.

Two of us stayed for a night on March 14. We reserved the room with Hotels.com rewards and paid for the difference. The front desk lady was very rude at the check in and asked for my credit card for the incidentals. She charged $ 78.28 on my card and asked me to sign papers. I wrote on the charge "HOLD" and signed.
The charge was never removed as on March 26. I called Hotels.com and the rep called the hotel. She also said that this front desk lady hung up on her.
Hotels.com is filing a complaint against this property.

I titled this since it was the loud argument that occurred around midnight. None of these sites are allowing me to show pictures of the cigarette holes on my sheets (accompanied by the boot stain and what I think was blood). The dilapidated ceiling was a nice touch to stare into as you wondered for your safety. Great marketing online showing only pics of the lobby which was very nice. I also love how Expedia charged me $180 a night and everyone else there was paying $131. I broke my cardinal rule to not stay anywhere with a rating less that six, this had a 5 on Expedia… not a five

We checked in for a 2 night stay, and immediately felt uneasy seeing people just hanging out outside their rooms. Upon entering our room, we noticed the door handle was extremely loose and the curtains didn’t close all the way. We also noticed an empty soap bottle under the sink (indicating the room was NOT properly cleaned) and mold on the shower curtain rod. We were so uncomfortable and felt so unsafe that we incurred additional costs to switch hotels for the sake our safety and wellbeing. There is absolutely NO way I would recommend you to ANYONE, not even the homeless.

is there a shuttle to downtown?
Nashville, Tennessee
Hi Jim, unfortunately we do not have a shuttle to downtown, but Uber and Lyft both service our hotel. The usual rate is between $10-$15 depending on the time of day. Both services are very fast and are usually available in less than 10 minutes.
