The Graduate by Hilton Nashville has a reputation for being a fun and quirky hotel with a beautifully vibrant decor that many guests find welcoming, though the atmosphere can be a bit loud for some. While the stylish rooms are generally praised for comfort, issues with soundproofing and cleanliness have been called out. Service quality varies, with reports of both helpfulness and slow response times.
Despite the unique ambiance, some travelers question the value, feeling that the high costs aren't justified by the hotel's amenities and services. The hotel's location receives mixed reviews, appreciated by some for its convenience and by others as too remote from key attractions.

Hotel's Favourite
We came in town for a wedding and stayed at the graduate. We loved the hotel and the staff were very friendly. I loved the way they designed the hotel to tell a story of the city. The hotel is decorated very nice and the rooms are amazing. We will definitely stay there again and the other ones they have in other cities.

The Graduate really breaks the mold of cookie-cutter hotels with its unique properties in college towns. If you’re a fan of Dolly Parton — who isn’t? — you’ll appreciate the decor in the rooms, the lobby and the White Limozeen roof terrace lounge. The location of the hotel is ideal: steps from Vanderbilt and a 10-minute Uber ride to lower Broadway. The rooms were clean and plush. And the needlework centerpiece with Minnie Pearl behind the hotel registration desk is impressive. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, my second experience at a Graduate property.
A few things could have made it even better: as is the case with many hotels nowadays, you have to request a printed copy of your invoice at check out. Had I not, I might not have immediately noticed that I was mistakenly charged for two nights of valet parking (over $100) when I did not have a car. It was immediately corrected when I pointed it out to the staff.
The hotel charges a $15 daily amenity fee that it says covers fitness center access, cans of water and instant coffee in the rooms, and a complimentary drink. (Never got one) The Graduate location in Columbia, SC, provides the same amenities with no fee. Guess it’s a Nashville thing.
The hotel does not offer a late checkout option on Sundays, so that’s something to consider if you have a late flight. They did store my bags.

Amazing hotel but the staff is even better. Well located easy to Uber and like most hotels parking is a little pricey but you have a parking garage right next door one minute away. For half the price

If you’re an instagram obsessed Dolly Parton lookalike this is the perfect hotel for you and i must mention the staff as extremely helpful and positive
Unfortunately the standard of cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired the location means you are constantly in ubers but that’s my fault for not doing my homework but my main bugbear is being asked for $150 to use the hot tub sized pool for an allotted time of three hours!!!!!on a positive note Nashville is amazing

I would not recommend this hotel the inside the lobby area when you walk in is very unique the upstairs which is called the white limousine bar is OK. The theme is neat but when you go outside, the cushions are all stained up things are not maintained out there like they should be very minimal space at the bar area at night they take all the chairs away so it’s standing room only at the bar area the drinks are extremely expensive. I got a margarita and my husband got a beer. It was $38. I was also informed that the white limousine bar area is not owned by the hotel so they don’t care about service up there. The bar staff was rude. The rooms are really small there was not even a luggage rack to set my suitcase on. I had to set it on the floor. They don’t have regular coffee in the room. It’s instant only the bathrooms are so small. It is a pedestal sink with no place as a woman to do your hair or your make up the bathroom come on we all like Dolly Parton. This is a Dolly Parton themed hotel. They should have a huge vanity in there for a woman to get ready. The toilet is right next to the door, so nobody can be in there when you are in there because you can’t even get the door open. Most places are standards with Q-tips make a pad remover’s, etc. shower caps this hotel offers nothing you better make sure you take everything you need this hotel. They give you free cards for a complementary coffee in the lobby downstairs it is awful you asked for an Americano and you have to pay for that It is so bitter you cannot drink it. my husband and I had to go elsewhere to find coffee in the morning. They have no in room dining and they don’t have a dining room downstairs that you can sit and order food. The valet parking is extremely expensive and when you are ready to call down to get your car, you better call 30 minutes ahead of time. Overall, I rate this hotel at 2 Star.

At first during our arrival we thought the hotel was lovely. Room was nice enough however if you stay over a weekend be sure to ask for a room on the 4th floor or above. There was a wedding on the night we arrived and the music/sound kept us up at night as it was directly below our room. We never complained as we thought at least it was only one night. It may be a suggestion for management to put wedding guests in the rooms above the function hall as it will save other hotel guests having to put up with the noise below them. The next issue we had was poor service from the rooftop bar/restaurant. We went up for a drink one evening and stood for ages waiting to be served. Unfortunately for us the servers had no interest in us and were only interested in groups. We left shortly after as my husband was irritated that they totally blanked us. Overall the hotel was nice enough and the housekeeping staff did a lovely job but the rest of the hotel will have no interest in helping you unless you are in a group. I would suggest staying in one of the other numerous hotels in the area as they may provide a better service than we received at the Graduate.

The hotel is one of the cutest decorated places I've ever stayed but that's where it ends. Customer service at the front desk was non existent, you have to PAY to reserve a 3 hour spot at the pool, the rooms and hallways are very loud so don't expect much sleep. If you want to visit the White Limozeen on the rooftop on a weekend, make your reservations weeks in advance - the hotel won't tell you this.

Horrible experience under new Hilton management. I have stayed at The Graduate Nashville many times before Hilton purchased it and had a great time. The new Hilton management has the same goals as the Bureau of Motor Vehicles - to belittle you, provide no customer service, take your money without adequate service and actively work to frustrate and blame the customer for complaining.
Hotel room next to us had a huge dog living in the room before we arrived and after our early departure. We departed a day early because the dog barked day and night when we came back to the room. Hotel manager blamed us for not complaining earlier and refused to credit our last day despite our early departure caused by constant barking. The manager told us that they put “dogs” ahead of human customers.
Additionally, reservations are handled by foreigners that speak broken English at a call center and refuse to transfer you to the actual hotel without arguing with them and explaining “why” you must speak with them and “what questions are you going to ask them?”.
Graduate now forces you to pay for the entire stay at check- in. No bellhops, no menus in room, front desk never answers the phone, staff puts requests back on the customer - I am certain that some employees are living in the hotel - like the room next to us with the large breed barking dog and its owner that hangs out in the hallway talking with another employee that I assumes lives in the hotel as well. There were homeless people hanging around the front entrance/valet and they approach you when you enter, exit and dropoff/pickup your car.
Hilton management has ruined once great experience offered to guests at The Graduate Nashville and replaced it with government mentality employees and policies; furthermore, Hilton management appears to have strangled the supply of money used to service, upkeep and reinvest back into the hotel - as evident by lack of basic guest services - no housekeeping during stay, bare minimum of towels, dogs barking, employees hanging out in the hallways, front desk personnel ignoring customers whilst conversing with one another and ignoring the front desk phone calls by guests, no menus.
AVOID Hilton Graduate Nashville at all costs!!!

This property has sadly gone downhill. We had a fantastic stay here in September of 2022, and were excited to return. Unfortunately there must be some change in leadership or management, because the service, cleanliness and attention to detail were not at the same level. We had a two night stay in a King Suite, and the rooms are starting to look worn. I could live with that, but we were told housekeeping would come to the room between 9:30 and 4:30, as long as we didnt put the do not disturb sign up. We followed this instruction and upon our return at 4:45, the room was not cleaned. We decided instead of leaving the room again, we'd just ask for new towels in the AM. We used the text feature and requested bath towels. They sent up hand towels. We were in a crunch for time so we made do with the hand towels. Then we had to utilize the valet, and had to wait close to 25 minutes for our car. The staff did not greet you (valet, door person or otherwise) and even my husband who is typically oblivious remarked that everyone was unhelpful. In the past we enjoyed utlizing the grab and go bar in Poindexter, and this time all the fruit was rancid for all three days of our stay. I think for the pricetag there are better options.

The hotel is very overpriced for the room and service offered. We had to request someone to clean the room even though we were told service was offered daily. Ice is only on every other floor. We reserved a promotional, drive and stay package, but the discount was not automatically given at checkout. The lobby is very well designed and heavily trafficked, but more effort is needed to keep the tables and seating areas clean. On the plus side, the room was clean and quiet.

Sorry we did not stay in a family suite.
Call the front desk and ask them. They were extremely helpful when we were there
The Governor's Pool at White Limozeen is closed for season and will reopen in the Spring. While it serves as an extension of our restaurant, it can be booked at a cost on Resy.

Hi Maddie!
I parked in the covered parking on Hayes Street for $20 a day. Pretty sure it’s called “Hayes Street Parking” and is directly across from the hospital near the Hayes/20th intersection. It’s literally around the corner, and very easy walking distance from the hotel. I’m over 50 (where did the time go?!!) with a bad shoulder, and I still managed to schlep my bags and a little cooler to the hotel without much effort. That being said, the Graduate staff is AMAZING and so helpful, and the valets are top notch. You’ll absolutely love your stay there.
