At the Hyatt House Nashville Downtown / Convention Center, a majority of guests commend the cleanliness and roomy accommodations, although there are occasional grumbles about housekeeping and upkeep. The service is typically highlighted as friendly and accommodating, yet a handful of visitors have encountered less than professional interactions. While the hotel's atmosphere is generally found to be welcoming, some feel it lacks distinctiveness.
Opinions on value vary, with some guests considering it fair and others taking issue with the additional costs for parking and services. The hotel's prime location is a standout feature, offering easy access to downtown attractions and transportation. Amenities like the breakfast and pool are appreciated, but some guests suggest improvements in the variety of breakfast choices and the consistency in room cleanliness.

As a family, we decided that we would take a week vacation to Nashville for my son and I's birthday. We landed on the Hyatt House for its location being just a couple of blocks away from Broadway and not right on Broadway, since it is wild. The location was perfect. The staff was super friendly and the facility was very modern with a beautiful lobby and bar. The rooms were very clean and the turn down service was great. The quality of the breakfast was just right and there were many options to chose from. They do have a small market place with snacks and beverages provided at a cost. Be forewarned, one bottle of Blue Moon beer was $9.20, so its best to go to the bar instead buying from the marketplace. Parking was $35 plus tax. and many nearby parking lots charge nearly the same. The elevators are very confusing and unreliable with the room key feature. Sometimes it will not scan the key and each elevator is marked differently, especially the service elevator. Myself and other guest got stuck in one of them because the room key scanner decided not to work. The elevator would not let us out and we had to wait for the next external user to call on the elevator for it to open. They do have live entertainment Friday-Sunday from 5-7pm. Checking in and out was a breeze and the airport (BNA) is a mere 10-12 minute drive from the hotel. Despite the small challenges, We will definitely be back! Worth the stay.

We took care to rent the ONE BEDROOM SUITE for our business meeting in order to have meals in our environment and share moments in the living room and the kitchen.
In short, already upon entering the room we were disappointed with the quality of the housekeeping. The top of the fridge was more than dusty, the carpet in the bedroom and living room was so dirty that you couldn't walk around barefoot. The kitchen floor was also dirty, such that we had the reflection that it is clear that this room is either very poorly rented or that the maintenance does not pay attention to the floor.
The sheets on the sofa bed were dirty with human and animal hair so clearly animals seem to be allowed in the hotel but nothing of the sort was indicated (one of our colleagues being allergic we would not have rented had we known this information
As for lunch, it was OK, there could be more variety but it all did the job
Level proximity to BROADWAY we are talking about 7 minutes on foot so very good and located in a quiet and safe place

Front desk staff didn't seem to know how their systems work and when we checked in they charged us double. When we asked them to correct this they said they did but they just confirmed the higher cost and couldn't explain why. We had to print out our reservation confirmation with the price for each day and present it to the general manager, he made the corrections. Housekeeping needs work, left our floors dirtier than when they came in and failed to refresh our water glasses even when we requested it. There where homeless people in the breakfast area loading up cups and plates while there was a long line of guests waiting to get breakfast, we decided to pass on breakfast. I think they should give any left over food to the homeless but not let them freely wonder through during guest serving times.

As a special needs Mom with a son who is in and out of Tri Star and Vanderbilt, we are in town OFTEN to say the least. This was the first time we chose to stay at this hotel instead of our regulars near the children's hospitals. The hotel it's self is clean. The beds are very comfortable though the pillows leave alot to be desired. You will pay 45 a day for parking though they make the parking very convenient and easy to avoid the weather and run out to your car if need be. The hotel locks after 10pm and for safety reasons I do appreciate you can only access it after those hours with your room key. What was the largest disappointment was the staff. From the rudeness at check in, to how stuffy our room was. Our phone was broke so we had to go out into the hall way to get any help from down stairs and there was no help. He told me I was the problem the room was stuffy and looked at me like I had horns for asking for a boxed fan. I had an important conversation that evening that was held in the lounge area. Between the young man who was goofing off with his friend and the young lady who would randomly start singing very loudly it was very distracting. The next night, the same women was on her phone watching tv not facing the desk. She jumped out of her skin and acted like I somehow was the problem because she did not see me there when I needed more pillows after my sons procedure. The only staff that was downstairs who was kind, helpful and professional was TY. When we had to extend our stay due to complications from our son, he made sure our keys were reactivated and we had everything we needed. He was always watching the front desk and never was unkind one time. In a pinch or if you are in town to party, it's not bad. But I can't say we will ever stay again when we are in town for our son's health. Special needs parent be aware. There is incredible noise level.

I worked with Marshall Welch to book a room block with additional conference amenities for my staff for our 2024 staff summit, and we could not be happier with our stay and service! Marshall worked to accommodate our group of 23 in all ways possible from room upgrades to conference space needs, and great catering options! The hotel itself was nice, clean, and offered great spaces for working, and the location of the hotel allowed our team to easily explore the downtown area on break times and after working hours. We are absolutely keeping this hotel in our back pocket for future stays in Nashville, and I hope I get to work with Marshall again. He was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and extremely easy to work with leading up to and during our stay! I would highly recommend this hotel for business and personal trips!

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at this hotel. It appears be a newly opened hotel and is lovely and modern and clean. The room was a very good size with big comfortable bed, settee, fridge and microwave. Bathroom was great with a big shower. Check in and staff were pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is about 10 mins walk from Broadway where most of the action is but fine for us. There is a complimentary buffet breakfast on a morning and although quiet basic will set you up for the day. Two issues. On check in you have to give a deposit of 50 dollars a day for anything you may spend in the hotel, I.e. bar etc. This can take a chunk out of spending money and must be on a card. I use a travel money card when abroad but if you use a British debit or credit card you would be subject to banking fees. Second. There is no daily maid service with the towels changed on the third day and bed made and room cleaned on the 5th day and bed changed.

The room was nice, very functional but not too big, and quiet (we didn’t notice any noise coming from other apartments or outside). The location is good, just a few minutes walk from Broadway. The room, all the provided appliances, and all the hotel spaces were clean. Our room had also double blinds to make sure that the room could stay dark even during the day. The weakest point was the breakfast offered; it was not bad or non tasty, just kinda basic, with warm eggs/breakfast sausages/potatoes, milk, juices, cereal, bread, bagel, cream cheese, oats, fruits, jam, coffee/tea, and yogurt. The items were always replenished, even 5 or 10 minutes before the end time of breakfast. When we checked in, the receptionist offered us recommendations and a map of the area. Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel and we would probably go there again in, as it felt very homey.

Hyatt House was clean and our Unit was clean. Very close to most attractions in walking distance. Breakfast was very good. Indoor pool was very nice and clean. The room mostly met our needs. I asked for a small pot, which the staff did not have (only big pots in the room) and the room did not have a sponge to clean 1 or 2 items in the sink. There was a dishwasher in the room. I have small kids, so these items would have been helpful. The breakfast was very good and convenient. Overall, I was pleased with my stay and I would go back.

Great location to all the museums, hockey stadium and Broadway. I would like to Thank Ashlee at the front desk for being so accommodating to my mom. When we booked a room we didn't realize that it was a room with a tub. After checking out the room I asked if we could switch to a room with a walk in shower since my mom needs assistance. Even though nothing was available that night she was able to move us the next day to a room with the shower. One night we got back late and there wasn't any coffee available so we made it in our room. But Ashalee called our room and said she made a fresh pot and asked if she wanted them to bring it up. If that's not customer service I don't know what is. Ashalee professionalism should.be recognized and I hope next time we visit I hear she is in management position. It sure is well deserved.

I thought it was, only 4 blocks. It’s right at the end of the hotel row on that street. The only time we felt unsafe was the last night because of 1 random crazy looking guy. I think most of the people staying at the hotel were going out drinking.” Like us too.
