The Gallatin is a hidden Gem. From the moment I booked the room and received my confirmation text and email, everything was smooth and lovely. Check in was easy and effortless. Upon arrival, the room was ready and clean and the interior of the hotel was very vibrant and welcoming. During my stay there, rooms were sold out and I was lucky to find a room available on the same floor just a few doors down. Lindsay went above and beyond to communicate to the cleaning staff my situation so that my room was available sooner and that the transition was seamless. Very Nashville great service. Also, I did stay at their sister property before, "the Russel' and the service and hospitality is consistent among the properties.
The Gallatin did have a binder with great information on local places. My personal favorite was "My Dear Martha" which has happy hour from 5 to 7pm I believe and they make great cocktails and have a pool table. There's also a great Parisian restaurant down the rood which was walkable distance and overall the location allowed me nice routes to run in some pretty neighborhoods of East Nashville. I will for sure be back. Thank you Thank you Thank you for allowing me to stay here and also helping to help the homeless in Nashville through my stay.

I absolutely adored my stay at the gallatin last week! Love the self check in which made it so easy to get in after a bunch of delays and cancelations for our flight. Love that there's free water, coffee, tea and snacks and that the hotel is super quiet and safe. As a woman of color feeling safe and seen is a top thing for me and I felt that at the Gallatin. Also the decor and aesthetics are amazing and it is super clean as well! My new fave hotel whenever I come to Nashville!

We had the most amazing time at the Gallatin hotel. My favorite part about this spot was the gorgeous lobby filled with tons of fun photo ops (including a photo booth), luggage storage for after checkout and a well stocked coffee + tea bar. The rooms were beautifully decorated with touches of Nashville theming and the beds were insanely comfortable. I especially enjoyed the Dyson hair dryer & air purifier included in each room. The location was good with just a 10 min Uber into downtown and the contactless check in process was seamless. Another amazing part about this hotel is that they are family owned and they give back to their community with their rooms-for-rooms program. I truly couldn’t recommend this place more, I will definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Nashville. Thank you for all your hospitality, Gallatin!!

The hotel was great and had everything I needed plus more, such as a Dyson air purifier/humidifier and a white noise machine. The location was convenient as there were pharmacies on both sides of the hot plus a lot of food spots. There was also a Publix supermarket that was a 5 minute walk away so everything that one would need is a short walk away. The only thing stopping me from giving a 5 star review is that it was very easy to hear the guests in the neighboring rooms as there wasn't much that was blocking the sound from travelling across rooms, so privacy was my only concern. The only other minor complaint is in the night, the A/C vents would have the strong smell of cigarette smoke coming from them. I imagine that guests outside that were smoking were the cause of that and nothing much could be done about that.

This is a fantastic hotel! The room was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a comfy stay. We were in town overnight for a wedding and really enjoyed this hotel. I was a bit concerned about there being no hotel staff on premises, but it was not an issue.

The communication from the hotel via text was very clear with directions on where to park, how to enter the building, how to enter our room, and we experienced no issues at all. The informational signage continued once we got into the hotel with clear directions on how to operate the luggage lift, how to use the TV, how to connect to WiFi, how to operate the in-lobby coffee machine, etc. This hotel has really thought of everything.

Lastly, our room was exceptionally clean. The bathroom was spotless and the chrome, glass and shower looked brand new. The towels were thick and fluffy and the bed linens and pillows were very nice.

We would absolutely stay here again!

It's a very colorful place, imaginative use of a concrete building. Very light filled and extremely technically modern with keypads to get in-and-out and no keys. Good ventilation with Dyson heat cool fan in room. Comfy mattress and fresh linens and Keurig coffee maker in room. Also a nice coffee station in lobby. There is no front desk but they are very responsive to texts. Free parking but when we arrived at midnight Friday the entire lot is filled. Also our toilet made construction drilling sounds at various times and was really a problem in the middle of the night. There isn't anywhere to put your clothes on a drawer but they do provide some hangers you can put on wall.It was a little cramped for me. I did also think $200 a night was pricey The area it's located in it is a busy noisy strip and not ambient. You don't have much choice in Eastern Nashville but I think this is a better one.

This was my second visit to The Gallatin this year. As with my first visit, communication beforehand was excellent.
My room was ready ahead of time, and I got a text with the check-in details and was told I could check in early if desired. When I checked I , I found my room to be comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The hotel is unstaffed, but just a text away if anything is needed. I received a text the next day asking if I had any questions or needed anything. The second afternoon I also received a text telling me there would be an event at the venue next door that evening and how to find the parking the staff had reserved for guests.

The beds are comfortable, in room snacks, water and ice down the hall, and an in-room fan to adjust the temperature to your liking. My only caveat to potential guests is that there is no closet or dresser space. There is a bar to hang a few things, but if you are someone who likes unloading your suitcase and brings a bunch of hanging items, you will be disappointed. For me that is not an issue.

The hotel is very convenient to all parts of Nashville, barring traffic you’re about 20 minutes from downtown and the universities, about 7 minutes from neat dining and shopping options, and it’s easy to get anywhere from the hotel. East Nashville has not been slickified like a lot of the city, so it’s more working class and has less of a polished feel than the rest of the city, a feature I appreciate but is not for everyone.

Anyone who is looking for a unique experience and a cozy place to lay your head will love The Gallatin.

If you are looking for a great place to stay on your trip to Nashville, the Gallatin is your place! The Gallatin is the cutest boutique hotel with an amazing purpose and mission. This hotel works with charities locally to help the homeless! In addition to it’s amazing cause, the Gallatin is clean and neat and comfy! The bright and colorful atmosphere of this hotel can brighten any mood no matter what. Each room is decorated by a different color with a fun minimalist design. The bathroom is fully stocked with every product you need, including Dyson hairdryers and full-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! The shower was large, clean, on theme with the color, and definitely a relaxing end to the day. I stayed in a one bedroom king bed room and the bed was unbelievably comfy! My room was red and so fun! The Gallatin also has many amenities, including a coffee or tea bar (that also has sparkling or normal water), a luggage room to store your luggage before or after your trip ends (I checked out and stored my luggage there while I killed a couple hours on Broadway before ubering to catch my flight home), extra rooms all around the hotel in case you’re needing some space or just want to explore! There is even a Photo Booth when you enter the lobby, which is so fun! The Gallatin is also located right next to The Vic which is a fun bar, and there is a Publix and Starbucks down the street. The Gallatin is only less than a 10 minute drive or Uber to Broadway! This hotel has many different layouts of rooms and different number of beds to suit your parties needs. I had so much fun exploring the property and finding all of the colorful attractions everywhere around the hotel. Even though there is no concierge at the hotel every day the hotel is very clean and I did see staff cleaning every day! When you first get to the hotel, you get into the lobby using a code and use another code to get into your room. Everything about the hotel feels extremely safe and private, which is a big bonus being so close to Broadway. I had an amazing stay at the Gallatin in Nashville and will definitely be staying there again in the future!

Went to Nashville for an event at Emerson Hall and found this amazing jewel directly next door. The Gallatin Hotel lived up to its reviews, it was very comfortable, extremely coinvent, and delightfully quirky. The room was spacious, and all needs were anticipated. The included locally sourced snacks were delicious. Will definitely stay again the next time I'm in Nashville.

My friends and I booked the Gallatin for a girls trip and it did not disappoint. There were 6 of us ranging in age from 33-45 and we throughly enjoyed the bunk bed themed room. When we arrived our room was clean, it has a lot of towels and wash clothes, shower gel, lotion and makeup cloths. The hotel itself is beautiful with a fun lobby!
