Because of our stay at your hotel, I have sworn off any 2 star hotels, in my family's future! Only half of the lights in our room worked, you could see light coming through the crack under our door, the faucet was broken, we had an adjoining room door in our room and could smell smoke from what I assume was pot coming through, and our bathroom door wouldn't shut, I guess there was an issue with the hinges. The elevator smelled like urine, the pool is closed, there is trash all over the parking lot, actually all over the area the hotel is located. When our commode needed plunging, there was a very nice man that was sent up fix it, I do believe he was the highlight of our stay. The breakfast was small but sufficient. I was thankful at least for that.

If i could hive them less than one star i would. If you are looking for a hotel that has plumbing problems from the carpet being soaking wet when you turn on the shower to the toilets over flowing, this is your place. Not only does the managment seem unphased by your complaints, they truly seem to be disinterested and act as if they dont work here and have no impact on the outcome. A simple request of an extra pillow for a queen sized bed ( which only had 3 pillows to begin with) they respond with that is an unobtainable request. This is by far the worst hotel chain I have ever dealt with in all of my travels. When going to the office to conplain about the wet floor their suggestion was to bring me small rags to soak the water up myself.

Unorganized, seems dirty, maids don't take time to clean good. Drug activity going on outside of hotel. Would not stay there again. They don't put trash bags in the trash cans in the rooms, maids don't speak English so you can't ask them a question cause they don't understand what you are asking.

The room had some issues and it’s not in the best neighborhood. We had something on the wall that looked like blood, the toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall, cracks in the ceiling and a hole in the wall. The floor had a lot of dirt and bugs remains in the corners. However even though the room had issues, the air conditioning worked, it didn’t smell bad and the customer service we received from the staff (except for one person who totally screwed up my reservation and charged me a lot more than I was supposed to have to pay) was pretty good. I would stay here again but only if I can’t find some other place at the same rate. It says it’s downtown but it’s still several miles from Broadway so that was misleading for me. No breakfast was served while we were there and the pool wasn’t open most of the time.

Never stay here. The place was disgusting, stained linens and towels, sink was falling apart, table was falling apart, boogers on the wall, other stains on the wall. There was damage to the structure of the building, the elevator smelled of piss, one of the worst places I have ever seen. Even trying to get a refund from the place is hard with the front desk lying about the state of the room.

Extremely sketchy. Slow service. Trash everywhere outside and in the pool. The manager at this location has a 'house policy' requiring a $100 cash deposit per room before check in, which they did give back.

Do not stay here. The first room had a toilet full of trash and the second room was directly across from a night club that was booming all night. When we arrived the night check in guy told us we needed $100 CASH deposit against room damages. This was not a CHEAP hotel, but it was acting like it was.

Very surprised Wyndam would allow their brand name to be associated with this property...even if it is a Super 8 (one of the lowest in their chain).
Too many issues to list. Suffice it to say, you don't want to stay here. For $20 more you can find MUCH better accommodations at any of the surrounding motels/hotels.
If you do decide to stay here, you can't say you weren't warned.

My husband and I stayed here because he had to go to Vanderbilt Medical Center for for a medical procedure. So, this trip was not about having fun in Nashville, it was a necessity.

The door to our room had several gaps which made it very noisy and difficult to get good sleep. They only provided us with one bath towel. I called the front desk several times to request another and only got to leave a message. We never did receive more towels. We had to clean the bathtub ourselves prior to using it. The swimming pool was empty. The “free breakfast” consisted of waffles and dr cereal only.

So… that being said, we will never go back to this establishment again. We’ll pay more to be more comfortable and fee safe and secure.

Hi Deborah, how did you get to and from the airport and downtown?
Answer from GSC4ever
NC57 contributions36 helpful votes
Not Deborah, but we used a cab to get to the airport and then to Downtown. People in our group were able to call Uber drivers to the hotel to take them to Downtown. I'm sure if you used a service like Super Shuttle they could get you to the airport, too.
