Was surprise how quiet and comfortable this hotel is even thou it is located near opry mills with all the traffic. Staff was wonderful, and helpful. Rooms confortable and clean. Breakfast had a variety of hot and cold foods.

Thye location allowed us easy access to the Opryland Convention Center and BW supplied a shuttle to and from the convention center from 8-8. The staff went above and beyond to help us and even drove us to dinner one night. A big shout out...More
How can this hotel only rate 2 and a half stars?? Certainly the location isn't in downtown Nashville but the shuttle that runs throughout the day helps with that and it doesn't have the huge price tag of the downtown area. There are plenty of...More
The location of this hotel is amazing! :) The staff was very welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Everything was well maintained and very clean. When traveling to Nashville, I will definitely keep this place in mind!...More
I made an online reservation and booked everything ok. Then I realized that I made the reservation for the wrong night. I called customer service and was told that the reservation could not be cancelled because it was booked under a 'special rate'. I was...More

I’m from Australia and understand your question as we too went down the same path about location in reference to attractions. We had a car but opted most times to use the shuttle bus because it was cheap and we didn’t need to worry about parking. It also has various departure times. The Grand Ole Osprey is only 5 minutes away and the city centre is probably 30 minutes away max. What I suggest you do is go to google maps, put in from Best Western Suites Opryland Nashville then put in where you want to go to. It will tell you how long to drive there and best route. What we tend to do is also have our own GPS with us and we pre program all the places we want to visit whilst in Nashville and when there, the GPS will put them in order of distance away from you in order so as to not waste time driving around in circles. For your info, Belle Mead Plantation and Andrew Jackson’s residence is really worth seeing. In summary accomodation at this location is really good value infact you can almost drive a quarter mile away and pay heaps more so for value for money, loacation and a great place to stay, I don’t think it will dissapoint you. You will find the closer to the city centre, the more you will pay. We’ve stayed there 2 out of 3 times now in the past 4 years with May 2017 being our last visit to go to an Allan Jackson concert at the Ascend Ampitheatre. Hope this helps you!

Most of the time we used our hire-car and we took the shuttle to downtown only. I have no idea if it goes elsewhere - sorry. Using the shuttle to go downtown was a good move. Parking would be a nightmare.
