Nestled in the heart of Downtown Nashville, the Renaissance Nashville Hotel garners mixed feedback. Guests commend the spotless premises and the vibrant atmosphere enriched by live music, complemented by the hotel's prime location near local attractions. However, some visitors express disappointment over the perceived value, pointing out steep costs for parking and additional services.
While the rooms are celebrated for their tranquility, critiques often mention they could benefit from modernization. The commendable service and staff receive accolades, although issues with early check-in policies are noted by a few patrons.

Renaissance Hotel is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Nashville. The southern hospitality was in full effect as the minute we pulled up the Valets were so attentive and helpful. Upon entering the lobby to check in, I was quickly taken care of by Kate and treated so professionally and warmly. The gentlemen who took our bags to our room, Fares, was so kind and went above and beyond by bringing us complimentary waters and offering us his assistance taking care of all our needs. The staff here at Renaissance hotel along with the aesthetic of the lobby area and rooms are what have solidified us into being a lifetime customer. 10/10 highly recommended

Club Lounge on 3rd floor is fantastic. It’s large and cute decor. Breakfast offers fruit, bacon, cheese / meats, bagels , sweets. Appetizers/ dinner include beef Wellington, shrimp, sandwiches, chips/dips, salads. Desserts include cookies, chocolate mini cakes, lemon bars, etc. Plenty of water , chips, breakfast bars, and coffee at entrance in case you want to grab and go. Staff was excellent!! Wine was ridiculously priced at $17 a glass!!!!!! Hotel is connected to Assembly Food Hall- so many food and drink options- a must go.( son had sushi, we had lobster roll) Walking distance to Broadway, Bridgestone Arena and other sights. Lyft to Vanderbilt around $8. Valet parking is $62, but you can park at Library garage across the street and take the skybridge to hotel for only $20 a day. Rooms are very average and could use updating. *The 1st we checked into reeked of smoke. No upgrade except higher floor/ view was available, but not expected.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Renaissance but the lack of security with the elevators really bothers me. There is a pad for a guest to swipe the hotel card key and then push the button for their floor. This was NOT working and anyone could get on the elevator. At first I thought during the day it is turned off. But NO, it also was not on at night. This is a large hotel (25 floors) and the elevators are not next to reception so anyone can come in and go up. A friend did not get on when a homeless looking man got on. She saw him there the next day as well. For female guests, this is not good or safe. The outside doors to Broadway and Fifth DO require a room key to enter which is great. Nice Starbucks with market is convenient. The SKYWAY bar is bright and had good drinks. The hotel is very clean, nicely decorated and situated in a convenient area right off Broadway. Fix your security, and I would highly recommend.

Very average hotel. Nothing very special about room or bathroom( except they have Aveda products ). Front desk pleasant. No real acknowledgement of Titanium, which is certainly fine. I will say the Club Lounge is very pretty. They have it set up conveniently with grab and go drinks and snacks( chips, waters, granola bars) in the very front, and seating and more substantial eats ( egg rolls, cheese, desserts) are further inside. Hostess was very welcoming. Wine glass is ridiculously priced at $18( Kim Crawford- a bottle is $11!!). Parking is so easy and cheap across the street at library ( 151 6th Ave), only $20 and take the sky bridge to hotel( 3rd or 4th floor). Otherwise I believe Valet at hotel is $62. I did not visit Little Fib, but it looked very cozy. Assembly Food Hall is also connected to hotel. You pass the front desk and pass the conference rooms. … so many great things to eat. Hot chicken, pizza, Mexican, cookie dough, sushi, bars- must go!!!!!

Stayed here a few weeks ago. Parking is across the street. There is a covered bridge walk way for guests to directly access the hotel. Hotel is Nashville themed. It was clean and well kept in the public areas. Rooms were average size, and the cleaning service did a great job. The handle to turn on the shower did not work on checking in, but maintenance was able to fix it. Check in was a little off. The desk person seemed bothered by his job. Also, my name was not put in the system correctly so I could not initially access the wifi. There is also a $25 per day resort fee that is use it or pay for it. It is located right near Broadway, and walking distance to the Gultch. Overall, it was an ok hotel, but probably won't return.

Although the location is very good I am amazed that after paying about $400 a night I still had to pay $15 a day for internet connection ! For a hotel of this class that is disgusting. I have stayed in much cheaper hotels and pubs and still got Wi-Fi free. Even MacDonalds gives free Wi-Fi! Bad show, Renaissance.

There are some pros and cons to this hotel. The main pro is the location. You can easily walk to the main hotspots on Broadstreet. The lounge offered decent snacks and beverages and was open over the weekend, which is a bonus because some hotels don’t offer that amenity on weekends. The cons: This hotel is average at best with a premium price. We primarily travel with Marriott hotels as we are Bonvoy Members. I think we are biased because the upgrades and customer service we have received from other Marriott hotels was significantly less at this hotel. It felt like this hotel was focused on catering to conference groups and not loyal Marriott customers. The stay was average, but I would recommend staying somewhere else if you’re here for a vacation and not a conference.

We really like this hotel and wish it offered better pricing that would allow us to stay here more often. The service, starting at the front desk/reception is always friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable. The connected library parking has really become a selling point compared to the very expensive parking found at other hotels and throughout Nashville. The hotel is located close to Broadway and in the middle of many restaurants and attractions in the Downtown area. The rooms are very nice, offering a quiet night sleep on comfortable beds. It's so nice not to have a loud window/wall A/C unit keeping us awake all night and we don't even hear the A/C at the Renaissance. The bathroom was very clean and seemed recently renovated. The lobby is very classy and welcoming.

Check-in was easy and quick, Ham has pleasant personality, helpful and smiling all the time.
Room with a city view it’s great during day at night . Towels, soap, iron, etc usual things in hotel room.
Buffet $35.12 with taxes. Make sure you mention that before charge it to your room. Use the $25 destination Fee and you’ll pay the rest. Food selections scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon , biscuit , dessert , fruits. Omelette station by Chef Joy! Good
The Bridge Bar, good selections from beer, whiskeys, vodka and mixed drinks. Ordered Old fashioned with buffalo trace! Last minute call for the food, so ended up ordering Salted Caramel chicken wings! It was so tasty and crunchy, I can taste the caramel , crunchiness, and salty at the end. Really good!
I saw Chef Danny, I said what is this chicken wings? It is damn really good! Is it a Tennessee thing? He said no, it was his recipe from scratch! Thank you chef Danny!
Good hotel and easy access to broadway and food hall!

The Renaissance is steps from the heart of Broadway in Nashville; an unbeatable location. It’s a very large property with a cool “bridge” bar over Commerce Street. But while the public areas are modern, the rooms are dated and shabby, especially the bathrooms. The mirror in my bathroom had some stains on it. The amenities are also substandard for a high-profile property. There’s a decent-sized, though old pool, but the fitness room is very small. The location might be sufficient to overlook some of these things in a discount hotel, but the prices at the Renaissance are luxury prices and it’s not a luxury hotel.
