Wow, the irony of being here for a national building facilities maintenance conference and the hotel hosting it being a maintenance issue. The elevators were out of service for a day and a half. There was construction going on in the lobby and other areas which is not a problem but the opening morning of our conference, in the large ballroom, I noticed all the chairs had dust one them. You could almost write your name in the dust on the chair back. My room was a bit dated, tub was chipped, water pressure was very low (10th floor so should have been fine). The sink in the washroom backed up. The Library restaurant in the lobby was strange, you had to line up at the bar to order then sit down? No table service? A hotel this size needs a dedicated, staffed restaurant for breakfast open at 6 am, no excuses. I will say the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. This place has a lot of potential or maybe had it and lost it?

Hotel's Favourite
Hotel was within walking distance to broadway and just enough distance the late night music didn’t keep you up all night. It was a convenient location for on and off interstate along with a nice park to walk our pup as needed. Room was clean and comfortable and staff was very welcoming upon arrival and departure. Did take a bit to get our vehicle upon checkout due to a convention checking out at the same time but was in not hurry.

Not great… stayed here for a work conference. 2 of the 4 elevators were down, room had a weird smell, air conditioner had trouble keeping the room not humid and there was no TV remote in the room. Stay somewhere else! There was construction, which wasn’t terrible, not all of the carpet had wear and tear. The best part of our stay was having to take the stairs up and down 11 flights to get to and from our room.

A very frustrating stay due to elevators and valet. We were there for 3 nights. Upon arrival we waited about 30 minutes before we reached the front doors. Valet was backed up due to their self parking garage closed down to maintenance so you pretty much had to valet. We were charged $67 per night which is a rip off when you really don’t have many options. Sometimes it took 15 minutes or longer to get our car. The AC was as always blasting when we got in and not on our normal settings. Which bothered my husband. We waited every time for an elevator. When I say waited, sometimes as long as 25 minutes because we were on the 23rd floor. Out of 4 elevators there were only 1 or 2 working for our duration of our stay. We would be packed in the elevator shoulder to shoulder waiting for the doors to open to get off on our floor. When we checked out today we ended up using the maintenance elevator with a worker because he noticed we had been waiting for a long time. Valet had our Jeep waiting on us and when I opened the door I noticed my side step not come down. We were backing up traffic so my husband said to pull myself in and he would look at it at the next rest area. When he looked he noticed the mechanical box that houses the motor that works the side steps was knocked out. He tried to put it back together and said the pins were bent. I’m hoping that when we get home he is able to bend the pin back and plug it back in. This is frustrating because you know the valet guy had to have noticed what he did. They didn’t tell us when I’m questioning why my side step isn’t coming down while he is loading our suitcase. The pros to the hotel was it was walking distance to Broadway, the cleaning ladies did an excellent job, and the staff was courteous. All in all, I think this will be a great hotel once they get their elevators working and their parking garage. But beware until then it is frustrating. Hoping we can be fixing the mechanical side step, if not I’ll be calling for reimbursement.

This hotel is TIRED. There were three conferences over a weekend and only one elevator was working. The sink didn’t drain and the shower had almost no water pressure. The staff seemed short handed and overwhelmed but also unapologetic about the challenges. Would never stay there again.

Was excited to visit Nashville for the first time. Enjoyed the city itself, but this hotel is a mess. Here’s what went weird: 1) There are lots of elevators but only one or two were working. And it's a huge hotel with 25 floors, so that is a problem for obvious reasons. Luckily, we were on the 3rd floor and could take stairs, but it shouldn't be assumed that ANYONE can take stairs. Shout-out to Dylan, who not only led us (and a few other guests who were tired of clustering at the elevator) to the stairs, but also helped us carry our luggage to our room. He went above and beyond! 2) There was no number on our room. We had to figure out which one was ours by process of elimination. I do enjoy puzzle games, but not this kind. 3) The parking garage is undergoing renovations, so you are practically forced to use valet. Which is fine, but it's $62. Which would be ALMOST fine, except we had to wait 45 minutes for our car this morning because the valets are short-staffed. Not their fault, they were doing their best. But this was at 6:55-7:40 a.m. (not a crazily popular checkout time), so I am worried for what the rest of their morning will be like. 4) THE WORST: They play music in the lobby, loudly, 24/7. Which you can hear in your room (maybe not all of the rooms, depending on placement, but we could hear it loud and clear in ours). This makes it difficult/impossible to sleep. My husband downloaded a white noise app on his phone, which helped us out a little, but this was one of the most sleepless nights I’ve had in recent history. “On vacation,” no less. Hopefully this place can get its act together in the long term, but, for now, I do not recommend that anyone stay here. To be nice and end on a positive note, however, I would like to give a shout-out to “Asher the Dasher.” The golf cart shuttle service to downtown was awesome.

This hotel is an embarrassment to the Marriott brand. Don’t be fooled by the stock photos, this hotel is in disarray as of April 2024. Aside from the dirty and cracking tub shower, stained carpet and curtains, 2 inch gap under the door, the worst part was the elevators. With only 1-2 working elevators for such a large hotel, on average I waited 15 minutes EVERY TIME I went down the elevators. This capped out at one night it took 25 minutes from pushing the call button to walking out, and only because I eventually grabbed an up elevator and rode it up then back down. The other elevator? Stuck between two floors with people inside. All in all it’s a shame because the location is great and the outside staff is wonderful (Asher the dasher needs a bonus). The front desk staff are so beat up from the constant complaints they don’t care. This is a hard pass for me and should be for you too. If you must stay here insist on a lower floor so you can take the fire stairs.

The valet team was the best!! From the moment I pulled up, the valet team (Mainly Christian) was at my door ready to get me taken care of! He made sure I knew where to pull and what to do. He also helped me get my bags up to my room. 10/10 service from Christian. I will be coming back!

The only good part about this hotel was James M the bartender in the Library. The hotel itself is o e of the worst Marriott I have ever stayed in and I travel a lot. 2 working elevators for 25 floor is absolutely absurd. James was the savior as he was super nice and attentive. Great drinks and food
