Our 1st stop on a 14 day road trip was 3 nights in Nashville so we were looking for an inexpensive option and the Comfort Inn fit the bill. Room was clean, king bed was comfortable. Strangest part of the room (wish we'd taken a pic!) was the bathroom sink/countertop which installed about 6" below "normal", nothing we couldn't deal with just strange trying to wash your face or brush your teeth with the sink bowl so low!
The complimentary breakfast offered all the typical stuff - plus a made to order omelet station. For the price ($110/night with parking) we felt it was a great location. Uber one way to all the bars on Broadway was under $10 and there were some bars right across the street that looked fun (we could hear the music coming from them)

Location OK, good even, there are some bars and restaurants across the street which were interesting at best, but all seem to shut early, but in the main there is a few minutes walk to the rest of the main attractions in the vicinity. Room itself was a bit tired, looked like something out of a 1970's private eye movie, had a jacuzzi bath, which didn't work, so don't be enamoured by this, I suspect this was intentional. The shower took forever to heat up, had to call reception to make sure there was hot water in the system, making its way to our room.... That said, it did serve our purpose for the time we were there. Breakfast was the usual, I have come to experience whilst travelling across the US, serving mainly scrambled egg and sausage....? You had the token waffle maker, which was a DIY affair, along with a range of fruit, yogurts and grits, I think; porridge type dish, all served on plastic plates, cups, knives and forks. They did have an omelette station and pancake station, which I didn't try. All in all, very basic stay, this is a real frugal hotel, all about saving money where they can, shame it was not reflected in the cost to stay there. The pool looked inviting, but the weather was not there to try it. The staff were pleasant enough, when you came across them and there was free parking and wi-fi, so not all bad. Don't get me wrong, if you want something quick and easy, no fuss; this is your place, however, in hindsight, we may have opted for somewhere else had we known.....

This hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Music City Center and the newer, larger, glitzier hotels downtown. It's a family-owned business and a great value for the price.
The rooms are on outdoor, covered corridors that face a central courtyard with an outdoor pool. It's clear that this building has been around for a VERY long time, but the owners have done a nice job with maintenance. The bathrooms are very clean and very well-kept, and the beds are comfortable.
You'll likely see maintenance work going on during your stay, as well as old furniture and appliances that are on their way out of the property. You'll also see kind touches such as free ice water and iced tea in the lobby, along with massaging recliners and chocolate.
The staff are friendly -- everyone says hello -- and the breakfast was decent if very crowded.
If you're looking to escape the hustle of downtown for your overnight stay, or attending a conference (as I was) and looking to save money on your hotel, you will find what you need here.

The location of this hotel is excellent relative to downtown Nashville and is easy to get to other sites by car or Uber. Overall though the property feels very dated and rundown. The wifi was very spotty, i had several times I couldn’t connect. The carpets were very dirty, lots of debris on them when we checked in and were not vacuumed throughout our stay. The breakfast options were excellent. There were lots of hot and cold items to choose from and an omelette bar too. They also had complimentary water and iced tea in the lobby and little chocolates which was a nice touch. There is on site self parking and we felt very safe in the area. For the cost though, I think you can get cleaner, more updated rooms in the same area so would not likely stay again.

The location was excellent. Many places to eat in the immediate area. A decent walk to Country Music Hall of Fame. We walked back to the hotel from Honky Tonk area in early evening and felt safe. The room was small but beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again primarily because of location. We didn't use the pool but everyone there seemed to really enjoy it. When we asked the front desk to order a taxi for us to go to Grand Ole Opry they ordered a giant, luxury uber for the two of us and the fee without tip was $55 for a less than 15 minute ride. Safe yourself some money and order your own uber.

Fantastic location, close to bars and entertainment. Rooms were very comfortable and beds were, surprisingly extremely comfortable. Bathroom was well lit.
Rooms are only accessible externally so, if you need to exit your room you are straight out into the elements.
Breakfast area is under renovation so you have to load up your breakfast and take it back to your room. Only temporary, I assume, until renovations completed.

I would give NEGATIVE 5 stars if I could. They are undeserving of a 1 star review. Zero customer service, no understanding for how I paid $140 for a room that had no working heater, no hot running water in the shower (not even warm) and no flushing toilet. And it was their "last room available" no refund, not even partial. Mind you, I was quoted $99 for the room and paid almost double that. Absolutely pathetic and couldn't be more disappointed in the managers response to my discomfort. If you're looking to get screwed over, this is the place to go.

Initially the hotel looked great. But I wasn’t able to get an early check in and when I finally did my room was not properly cleaned. There were clothes left in the closet and a massive spider web! I had to change rooms at 2am!!! The evening manager did not communicate a discount to the staff and the day shift manager was no help. I should not have had to pay full price for a dirty room and the inconvenience of switching rooms.

Impulse trip to Nashville and this seemed good value last minute. Facilities a bit basic but very clean with efficient and welcoming staff. Included breakfast was varied and plentiful and I particularly liked the omelette station. Didn’t use the pool or gym but both very popular with other guests. Don’t miss the complimentary massage chairs in the lobby. Great after a day’s exploring.

Great location for a good walk to Broadway. There are many bars and restaurants right across the street like Live Oak. Not too far from Riley Greens Duckblind and Losers..Always felt safe walking wherever we went in the area including to Broadway. The beds were comfortable, room was clean, and location was great.Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. They do offer free breakfast but we did not utilize. AND a plus is they have snacks and drinks in the lobby much cheaper than the stores.Bonus if the candy dish is still in the lobby.
