I never leave reviews, but when I recieved an email from Wyndham asking to give a review, I just had to leave a review of my stay the other night because of the strange & rude staff member I encountered. The rooms were decent for the price, there was some wear & tear, but nothing bad about the rooms to report on other than my restless children not being able to watch TV. The rooms appear to be in the process of renovations, there was a newer model commode, new shower head & nice bedding. Location was great with plenty of shopping & food amenities to choose from. But the guy who checked us in was cocky & rude. He acted like he didn't want to be there. We left & went to dinner before actually entering the room, so I came down to the office a little later with a few small problems/enquiries, no one was in the office, but he finally appeared from around the building. He acted irriated that I had interrupted his smoke break. He put on a pair of sunglasses when he got back behind the desk, which was odd because it was dark & he was indoors. He acted as if every concern was an inconvenience to him & he told me "Well you don't have to stay here" which I thought was a bit dramatic on his part, since I was only inquiring about how to get the TV working & to let him know there were prior damages in the room upon check in (I didn't want charged for damages that were already there) I asked for the wifi password & he snarkily told me he already wrote it in the key card sleeve. (My error since I didn't notice it written in there) but he reluctantly told me the password. He didn't offer to help get the TV working or to give me any suggestions, he made me feel like "deal with it or leave" I asked his name & he refused to tell me. I went back to our room & told my husband of the interaction I had & he went down to talk to the guy at the desk, he didn't give my husband any attitude or tell him he could leave, but offered to change rooms, which we did so the kids could watch TV, but the TV in that room wasn't working either, so we gave up on the TV. I saw him again shortly after our encounter in the lobby, he was taking out trash, still wearing sunglasses at almost 11pm at night. At least the lady at checkout was delightful & kind. I don't know if I will ever stay there again due to the young man with the belligerent attitude that likes to try to intimidate women.

The building is quite old and the beds/furnishing are not at all well kept. The door did not have a working security latch. The continental breakfast was nothing more than some granola bars, juice concentrate and coffee! I would not stay here again unless there was no place for me to sleep.

Where the listing photo shoiws a pool is a Hampton Inn. Where the phpto shows a building to the left is an empty lot. There are no trees. This is either a very old photo or of the wrong property. The hotel is is a square admin bulding with resception desk and potential wating and eating areas and a deatched single linear two story building to the west with guest rooms facing easterly and westerly.
I just stayed there 7/11-7/13/22 . The hotel is OK. The room I stayed in was mostly clean and comfortable but the carpet was heavily soiled and the non-smoking room had absorbed burned tobacco odor that Febreez 2x fabrc spray couldn't neutralize.
After reading the reviews, I didn't try what was availabke for breakfast but used the microwave an fridge to make my own of oatmeal, a hardboiled egg I brought and jerky sausages. The coffee pods in the room was typical weak, bitter, bad motel coffee. Stop at the McDonalds a half mile east if you need caffeine for breakfast.

We were charged the wrong price even though we had a printed copy of the booking.com reservation. No resolution was attempted by the hotel. The first night we were given a room on the second floor even though I had called and was assured of a first floor room and even given a room number. We were moved the second day. In 12 days time our room was cleaned only once and that was after complaining. The deadbolt lock on the door was broken. We reported it but it was never fixed. We were given clean towels but no washcloths. We went to the front desk and requested some.

Good bed, everything in the room worked, didn't see any bugs. Newly painted room but they must have quit after painting whole room except the woodwork in the bathroom. Deferred maintenance visible in outside areas. Ice machine needed air filter changed, no one to do it so the machine shut itself down. Pitiful breakfast. Beverages and a selection of two granola bars.

Nice beds but the rest of the place was trash. Paint coming off the walls and doors. Pore quality workmanship on the somewhat remodeled tub and shower. Had to ask for TP. I do not recommend even thought it was one of the lowest cost places in town. No maid serves.

This place sucks so much. I’ve been deployed to Iraq and had better accommodations. This place needs a bull dozer and new owners. Rooms smell like body odor and meth, TV doesn’t work, bugs in the room, carpet severely torn, big loud dog barking two rooms down and a burn hole in the sheets. Stay at the Hampton Inn next door.

The new renovations for the entire Oak Ridge Days Inn make this a motel you'll return to over & over again. The rooms have been completely redone, the breakfast bar offered a wide variety of hot/cold choices, the location is ideal, & the personnel are friendly & serious about wanting your visit to be perfect. I will stay here whenever I'm in the area.

When we first got there our key wouldn’t work so they had to find the hard copy that took over a hour. While waiting we seen a man on a bed of a truck exchange something with multiple different cars not staying at the hotel. Multiple people coming out in there underwear staring at you like they live there. When we finally got in there was no blankets (I was told in summer they don’t legally have to give blankets ) there was no toilet paper. The bathtub had bugs & hair all in it . The WiFi says to many people are connected so we didn’t even get to use it. We were counting down the time to leave that place ! I’ve stayed in days inn my entire life & have never seen one in this bad of condition.

I am giving it one star because I cannot give zero. The only redeeming quality was that some of the staff were very helpful. The room was beyond disgusting - dirty, dusty, stains on the towels, and smelled of smoke. Housekeeping never came; had to ask twice for towels. The key card never worked.
