This is a bed and breakfast that is a hotel. There are 20 large guest rooms each with their own bedroom. The proprietors -John and Brenda have done a great job renovating this church building into a b&b. They provide true southern hospitality and are very accommodating of anything you need. We were there for a jeep jamboree and they even packed lunches for us on the trail. The day we departed they insisted on still fixing us breakfast- which they made for us at 4:30 am.

They are located within a block of the Coal Creek/ Windrock OHV recreation area entrances and are also on the routes of many motorcycle/ driving scenic tours.

It is a definite return visit for us- I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Brenda was such a wonderful hostess. We had eveything we needed. Ruby was waiting for us as we got there late. They were well informed with the area and breakfast was homemade. The place was beautiful. We we right across from windrock riding park. Will stay again. :)

This bed & breakfast is just so much more that. Great rooms comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms. Theatre is really great & the reclining couches would make you not want to leave. I was thier to enjoy riding my gold wing on the devils triangle & Daniel Boone National Forrest. Brenda & stephanie will make you feel at home with great home cook meals. I will be going back soon. I stayed here while on a three day trip to ride my GL1800 Goldwing on the Devil's Triangle and up in the Big South Fork area. I had two of my friends along as well. We were treated as Kings while there. The rooms were first and foremost clean as were the baths. The attention given by the owner Brenda and her employees was exceptional. If you are looking for a fantastic place to stay while in the area this is definitely it.

Our club chose to stay at this nice little B&B after hearing some really good things about it from other organizations. We were not disappointed. The owners stay on the property, the rooms are very nice and have several variations to choose from. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, home-cooked meals. We dined in a group setting which made it feel much more relaxed and inviting. The entire area is rich with history as is this B&B's own building. Huge main gathering area complete with reclining couches, multimedia screen, movies, and even popcorn. Fantastic place for adults and children alike. We will most definitely be back again and again.

I've stayed twice at this bed and breakfast. Once in April and the second in October of 2011. This is now one of my favorite B&B to stay at. Great owners, John and Brenda, which always greet you by your first name. The rooms are super nice and very clean but not all rooms have a TV so if this is an issue you might want to reserve a room with a TV. The breakfast is excellent and you'll definitely won't leave hungry here, everything is home cooked and made to order. They also offer dinner for an extra $10 per person, which I have always done. Nothing like a long day ride at Windrock to come back to the inn for a home cooked dinner. Love the great room with the hugh movie screen. I'm definitely returning for a visit and I have no hesitation in recommending this B&B to anyone else.

Windmill Inn is a great place to stay. Very close to Windrock Park. Very nice, clean rooms and Ruby is wonderful! She is so friendly and such a "people person". Hugs all around as we left. We will definitely stay again!

This was our second trip to the location and had an enjoyed the prior experience and wanted to stay there again. This trip was beyond miserable. It was extremely cold and when we asked the next morning about turning up the heat and getting additional blankets. We asked for both but did one blanket for our room. The attendant looked in all the bedrooms and could only fine the one blanket. I took a picture of the thermostat on the morning we were preparing to leave it was on 58* in the building. I did contact the owner and found her to be extremely defensive and didn't appear to believe what I said. I explained from the get go I did not want any monetary compensation but wanted to address the situation with her before posting anything. I will have to say the breakfast was good. I will not being there again. I will stay at Double Tree again like we did on our very trip to the area. It didn't cost that much more and was well worth every penny at Double Tree.

I was lucky to find this B& B treasure several years ago during one of our ATV trips in the Coal Creek, Windrock ATV trails area.  We were treated like family by Brenda the innkeeper.
The staff are extremely accommodating with check in and check out times. The rooms are very comfortable clean and neat.  The common areas are great for fun and relaxation. The location is perfect for anyone visiting east Tennessee, Oak Ridge or Windrock Park, which is just down the road.  We look forward to visiting any time we are in the area!
