Let me just start out by saying: this inn is a state park, I was told ahead of time that "people don't come to a state park to stay in hotels." Yeah, I'll say. This place was pretty when we pulled up; right on the lake with a nice lobby that overlooked the floor to ceiling windows of the buffet....

We actually stayed in the cabins, not the inn. But we ate one breakfast and one dinner at the inn, and they were fantastic. Great price, lots of food. Plenty of choices. Make sure to try the seafood buffet on Friday nights! We initially rented standard Cabin 3, which underwhelmed us a bit, compared to other state park cabins in...

Had a lovely overnight stay, with a wonderful view of the bridge and water. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. It was easy in and easy out. They had scented melted wax in the restaurant to mask the paper mill, but I guess the wind was in my favor because we didn't smell the plant...

The staff was very friendly! Service was great! Food was delicious!!!! The view of the dam lit up at night was beautiful! It was a very peaceful relaxing weekend. Would highly recommend the Inn for a weekend getaway.

We have stayed at several other Tennessee state park inns. This by far has been the best one. It was rebuilt in 2001 and I think that helps considerably. We stayed on the third floor which is essentially the first floor if you enter from the front of the building. Each room has a wonderful view of Pickwick lake and...

Recently visited here with my family while visiting other family in the area. This place is absolutely beautiful. Saw the Christmas festival that they have and it was great for the younger children in my party. We were unable to go on the train ride in the festival because the temps were too low for the youngsters but other than...

I found this property to be in a great setting on the water. It was not as remote as I had imagined since there is also a huge traffic bridge that you can see from your room along with the picturesque lake! Nonetheless, a great escape. I did not smell the paper mill but perhaps it was the time of...

Checked in not knowing there is a paper mill across the river. The wind shifted and you could not take a breath in your room without tasting sulfur in your mouth. I am sitting in the lobby at 2 am writing this review with a splitting headache from the smell. When we tried to sleep in the room the pillow...

I have always loved to stay at the Inn when I come back home. Peoplr always nice, food is good, the rooms are clean but nothing compares to a good sleep..it makes all the good to be forgotten. A good mattress makes a trip enjoyable. Will rent a cabin from now on.

We needed a place to stay while our boat was being serviced. The Inn is showing it's age. The restaurant serves buffet style and the food is below school systems food. We asked for a different room due to the loud air conditioner. Unfortunately the second room was just as loud so we stayed where we were.
