Along with another couple, we spent a fun weekend at Evins Mill. We stayed in the Creekside rooms and had the sights and sounds of the creek down below as we sat in rockers on the porch. As part of our package they provided all three meals. The food was excellent and in large portions. The staff was very friendly...

Thank you for taking time to share your experience of Evins Mill here - and of course for your patronage! I'm glad that you had a favorable experience. I would echo your note about the Creek Side rooms not being ideal for those with mobility issues. For those who wish or need to avoid steps, I would instead recommend accommodations...

We live within 30 miles of the Mill, only go for dinner. It is always excellent from service, booking, food quality, and preparation. It is our "go to" place for entertaining guests, holidays or just a special treat for ourselves. The facilities are lovely and always improving. We feel it is the best within a 150 mile radius.

Thank you for your dinner patronage! I know we're not always available for dinner reservations and so especially appreciate your effort to find those times when we are. Thank you also for sharing Evins Mill with your friends and for taking time to post a review here. Thanks! William Cochran

Had an enjoyable visit! It had been 8 years or so (time flies!) but glad to be back. The Solstice is very nice and will definitely only stay there. A few things had changed where it felt like cut backs may have occurred, but honestly a new by would never know! Customer service great and overall great experience.

Ahoy from Evins Mill! I think I know who this is and would love to get more feedback from you on how it feels like we've cut back. That definitely has not been our intention, and I'd like to see how/if we can address that notion. In any event, I am glad you enjoyed the Solstice - and the service....

The view from the front porch is beautiful. Very big trees, the sound of a waterfall (water flowing over the mill pond dam). Have a trail right on the property to a 90' waterfall that is spectacular. The food there is to die for, really good. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Bring comfortable walking shoes, there are a...

A hidden gem, not to be missed. AMAZING food! I believe everything is farm to table. Never had a bad meal; ever. If you have the option, opt for the rooms with a loft; unless you're a monkey you probably won't be able to get up there, but the ceiling height is nice, and being on the lower lever is...

Hello - thank you for posting this note about your experience! I'm so glad you enjoyed the cuisine as much as you did, and took the time to see Carmac Falls from the base. Thank you again! William Cochran

After hearing several of our friends rave about Evins Mill, my husband and I decided to book one night in Lockhart 1 to celebrate our 6th anniversary. We had the most wonderful time! Between the helpful staff, clean and cozy room, abundant delicious food, excellent hiking to a spectacular waterfall and time spent relaxing on the rockers outside our creek...

My fiancé and I stayed at Evin's Mill for one night on our road trip from Nashville to the Smoky Mountains and back. First off, on our trip we stopped at one of the best falls in the Smokys (Grotto) and the twin falls/great falls area and hands down, Carmac Falls (the private waterfall on the property) is far and...

I'm so glad you made it to the base of Carmac Falls - not everyone does - it is a bit of a challenge as you rightly noted, but I'm glad you found it worth the challenge! Thank you for taking the time to post a review here. I am happy to hear that the waterfalls was not the only...

The rooms were fantastic with all the amenities for a nice getaway for couples or business. The food was scrumptious and nice pairing of sides. Taking the whole top floor, gave our group a place to watch the Olympics or go outside enjoy the relaxing outdoors. Would go back in a heartbeat!
