We stopped for the night on a recent trip. All the staff was friendly, helpful and great. We will go there again. The sites can handle big rigs. They have a nice store and they had pizza there which was great because after along day on the road, the kids needed something to eat.

When first pulling in to this place you'll immediately notice the cleanliness and manicured campground. The staff, management and owners take amazing pride in this place and it shows, We've stayed all over America at koa's and this one is one of the absolute best, easy and fast access to I-75 outside of Sweetwater Tennessee, minutes from a plethora of activities whether it's riding the Cherohala Skyway or the Dragons tail, Amazing restaurants, fishing, hiking etc... If it's kid friendly you want, well look no further, plenty of activities for the young ones, the Owners go out of there way to make the kids stay awesome from the pool, jumping pad, basket courts, hot shot Ballon area, gem mine, train rides the list goes on and on, I highly recommend The Sweetwater I-75 koa...

One of the best KOAs we've visited. Very polite staff. Clean clean clean restroom and shower. Very quiet and peaceful. Pull through sites are positioned so the sun sets behind the motorhome, not in front. We enjoyed setting and listening to the quiet.

We have coming to the Koa for 4 years now and we're very disappointed. They put us in a campsite that was too small for our camper and since it was a Rewards weekend we expected lots of fun activities to do at the campground like in years past. Unfortunately there was nothing planned not even a pancake breakfast for care camps. I highly doubt we will return since the staff was not as welcoming as years before. We loved coming to this Koa in years past because of the staff and all the activities they did for kids and adults. Candy bar bingo was my families favorite activity to do as well as the pot luck dinners they had. We would get to meet other campers but I guess this is a thing of the past just like our visits. We loved supporting the care camp by doing activities that they offer but this weekend they didn't offer one activity to help with this program that we care so deeply about.

My wife called ahead and made reservations for a site, and due to weather and bad traffic we were unable to make use of those reservations. We called to cancel and we're told there's no refund and we paid $56 for a site. When she called and gave her credit card number, we were never told that there was no refunds. If we had been told that we never would have made a reservation. The price included water electric and sewer which of course we never used not to mention the site. I can understand partial refund would be in order because water sewering and electric whenever used. We should have been told up front and we weren't and we should be given a full refund. This was not a last minute cancellation. I think it is their responsibility to tell people that there is no refund if they would to cancel.

We were booked to stay here June, 20th , 2024!
I got a call that my sister is very ill and she only has a matter of hours to live. We are trying to get back home to see her one last time .
I called this campgroud earlier this morning . I talked to Joyce, at this KOA ! She said I’m sorry about your situation , but you will not get a refund .
I’m sure they have it booked already and will make double the rent on this site today .
Policy says 48 hours notice . Well we didn’t know until today !!
It’s funny they took our reservation and took our money out of our bank the same day !
This Happened to us in Ohio several years ahead and the man at the front desk refunded all of our money.
We understand about policies and we don’t make reservations and cancel !! But I believe they need to have an emergency policy. You don’t always have 48 hours to give notice We will not book another koa campsite any this KOA or any other Koa. Enjoy that $70 i your let one $70 ots your last .very disappointed

Hello there! We don’t have a Joyce that works here as stated in the review. In situations like this we would refund the money and void the 48 hour cancellation policy. Maybe there was a misunderstanding. We hope you can reach out to us directly to settle this concern. Thank you so much and safe travels!

we love this KOA! The staff is always so kind and welcoming and the cabins are affordable and so clean and nicely decorated, each with a different theme. We always come back! Very quiet too. The people staying there seem respectful of one another and the bathrooms are clean. Good location for some nice hikes and also, not too far from Townsend, TN and the Smokies.

I have been coming to this campground for 4 years, informing the staff that I specifically come here to charge my car because I cannot make it from my house to the nearest dealer. Suddenly, today, after plugging in a manager came to me to tell me that car charging is not allowed. He was quite rude and confrontational. I asked if he knew where I can charge my car, but he was of no help. I used to love this KOA, but now I will probably never return.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at this KOA. We are a BIG RIG and towing a large vehicle. We had no problems pulling in to our site and leaving our site to the exit. WiFi Internet was very good. Cable TV was in HD quality. We recommend this KOA campground

Purchased a new 5th in Ohio, on our way back to FL wanted some place close to I-75, this campground popped up in my search. Easy to get to, friendly and helpful staff. Large sites, they escorted us right to our site. Peaceful and clean. We will keep this campground as a go to as we travel up and down I-75
