We absolutely loved staying here with our camper. The property was nice, Kellie & Wayne were wonderful hosts (Wayne checked on us periodically asking if we needed firewood - your first bag is free and subsequent bags are $5) and the bathrooms were close by. The pavilion is really nice (we loved the motorcycle fixture and pipes as light fixtures). We didn't use the community firepit as each spot has its own. The water connection wasn't hooked up but there was a community water supply close by (don't let this keep you from staying). As other reviews state, the WiFi is best close to the main cabin and our extender worked the first couple of nights then our TV wasn't working properly. This was a minor inconvenience but overall, we LOVED our stay here and will definitely be back! I will recommend bringing a 3 way plug to connect to the electric if staying in a RV spot (we had our own) but neighbors that came later on during our stay didn't have one and said Wayne did for purchase.

We stayed so we could ride the skyway and the Dragon and this was close enough so we could easily ride both. We look forward to coming back and staying again!

We stayed in one of the cabins, and it was absolutely lovely. The cabin was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The campground had everything we needed, and the area is gorgeous. We unfortunately had to leave early due to an emergency back home, but look forward to returning.

Stayed in quite a few motorcycle resorts. This one is special. The main reason to consider staying here is proxmitity to fine roads and owners that can provide information about how and where to ride. Really, a laid back and great place to visit - I will return.

We tent camped for a week here with our family. Wayne & Kelly, our hosts were very kind & accommodating. The creek is nasty, doesn't flow, is stopped up so it's stagnant. There are only 4 bathrooms/showers & on wknds they are very busy so if you have to go- too bad! They are also in need of updating. Shower handles broke, paper towels empty, and floors flood so you cannot use electrical appliances (blow dryer, flat iron). We were not motorcycling ppl, and we had a good time regardless. It would be nice if there was something for kids, but I get it.

If you have read my other reviews you may have cought on I like to travel on the cheap. I love to get away; I hate to spend the dough. Wayne and Kelly run a class act campground tailored to motorcyclists. Campsites, trailer sites, tent sites and cabins all for a very reasonable price. Less than what you will pay for federal or state property. Ask real nice and Wayne may make you a philly cheese steak. I hate to let the cat out of the bag. This is a must visit.

Only got to spend one night here due to poor trip planning on my part, but wish I could have stayed longer, and WILL return. The owners are amazing people, who arranged to have food and refreshments on hand after our long ride in from Canada, and even cooked us breakfast the next morning of which was shared with other guests staying at the property as well. They really care. There's a Fire pit, bbqs, and anything else you need right there, and if they don't have it it's not far away. The cabins are tidy, not big, but big enough for 2 people on the road, very comfy, and simple. the property, bathrooms, showers are all very clean, and in convenient proximity to the cabin... Good Job Guys, Lucky Devils will never forget you

Ended up a weeklong motorcycle trip with 2 other guys.with a 2 night stay in the neat little cabins at Cherohala. It was nice to unload all unnecessary gear and ride the scenic routes in the area unladen. The cabins, grounds, bathrooms, showers, gazebo etc are clean as a pin. There is a community firepit for nightly gatherings and the firewood is provided. The cabins have twin beds, window A/C, ceiling fan and light. The 4 bathrooms are near the office and were very clean. Towels and washcloths were provided in the cabins. At the gazebo, there were snacks, drinks, coolers and bags of ice with payment on the honor system in a wooden box. You were welcome to pack a cooler to take to firepit or your cabin, just return to gazebo before leaving. I can't say enouh about the place and plan to end this year's trip the same way.

Some places you hate to tell people about because you just want to keep them for yourselves. That would be selfish and not do these good people justice. We stayed here over the weekend and had a fantastic time. Wayne will cook you whatever he has on the menu at the time, and serve it up with conversation and a smile. He'll give you directions to some good riding trails and highway, whatever your preference. The place is spotless. We stayed in the cabins but the also have great tent sites. Thanks for a great stay.

One week each of the last two years I have stayed with Mike and Kellie during the FJ Motorcycle fall rally.

The first trip out I asked about cooking accommodations, Mike and Kellie offered to pick up and groceries I needed like the steaks and fixings.

The Cabins are comfy and equipped for drying gloves and boots, have ac and heat plus two tempurpedic beds. They have four public restrooms and were getting in a new shower house.

If your group wants a special meal, just ask and they will prepare. Further, they do a great meal every Sunday as local establishments are usually closed. They do have small breakfast muffins and such daily as part of your stay.

The first year, I changes a motorcycle brake rotor, signed it with wishes and left it for them as decor. It resides on the wall next to the door. The second year, I left a pair of Ducati brake and clutch handles I believe they are making into an owl for the wall.

They are appreciative of the guests, prepare bon fires and generally cater to needs. They provide microfiber towels for wiping our bikes and plenty of good towels for our bodies.

There is free WiFi but to receive it in the cabins requires a good device. It is perfect at the Office/Dinning room.

The picnic gazebo is huge and equipped with the gas grill and a very large table to enjoy

I and the group have great experiences with them.

Dave

Greetings, First let us say we are sorry for your loss. Our cabins are reserved in advance by most guests. Due to this fact the cabins are only available for at the most a week at any given time. You may want to try a local discount motel (not sure if any are located in the immediate area). --Wayne and Kellie CMTC
