This is our first time staying here but it won't be our last. After looking for hotels in the Townsend area due to a place we'd stayed before being booked, I discovered this gem. They had me at "nightly bonfires" 😍 Nothing beats the smell of a fire and here, you get to smell it every night. We stayed in...

Cozy and comfortable room in a country setting. Relaxing, friendly, clean. You can stroll down to the river bank and back to the outside fire pit which they have every night. Plenty of outside chairs and picnic tables. They are dog friendly and mine sure loved it. We stayed in the rustic side and could not have been more pleased....

Found this hotel by happenstance as we were dining next door. We are so glad we found It! Super rates and the rooms are so cozy. Fire pit at night, swimming pool, dog friendly, and oh so nice workers. We take our 2 Aussies and they are so welcoming (the staff, not the dogs...altho they are super friendly too!). Great...

We love the hospitality and convenience we find at Riverstone Lodge. Economical, friendly, spotless are just some of the adjectives that describe this little slice of heaven. As a Cades Cove fanatic - its wonderful to be able to stay so close. We just live in Gatlinburg but choose to drive over and stay at the Riverstone for our early...

NOT SURE WHY ANYONE WOULD WANT TO STAY ANYWHERE ELSE. THE OWNERS ARE NICE THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN. SURE JACK'S SHACK MAY NEED A LITTLE REPAIR BUT YOU WON'T FIND ANYTHING BETTER ON THE RIVER. IT WASN'T LADY BUGS ON THE ATTACK, What you have is probably the Asian lady beetle or Japanese lady bug (Harmonia axyridis). These insects can...

Stayed in Jack's Shack for a weekend of hiking in the Smokies. Staff was very friendly. The cabin was ok but lots of lady bugs all over the walls and light fixtures. No big deal just a nuisance. The glass kitchen table seamed out of place and the chairs had cream cushions that were filthy. The downstairs bathroom linoleum is...

My husband and I visited Riverstone the end of October. We had the top room by the pool. Big and Clean! There was an issue with lady bugs but we were experiencing the same thing at our house. It's just one of those little damnits of life. The owner sprayed and tried to get rid of them all. We were...

We love Riverstone Lodge! Our families have been vacationing here for around 12 years. (or more ) It's family friendly and very affordable. The rooms have everything you need and most important, they are super clean! We've rented Jack's Shack and Annie's Hideaway here at Riverstone Lodge too. The Riverstone Restaurant is always delicious! It's rare to find restaurants that...
