The cabins are great & so is the lodge -- cocktails by the fire inside or by the outdoor firepit! Dinner is fantastic & we have been treated to live music more than once. Tiffany at the bar is a particular favorite :) !

We always stay in Townsend, TN whenever we visit the Smokies and have been a loyal customer of the Richmont Inn until now. This trip, we stayed in the Meigs Trail cabin at the Dancing Bear lodge, and it was perfect for a couple. Check-in was super easy. It had a very comfortable king-size bed, and the cabin was very...

Four of us visited the Dancing Bear Lodge and Appalachian Bistro for 3 wonderful nights in November. It could not have been more perfect! The owners have put every effort into making this the perfect getaway retreat. The cabins are cozy and well-appointed, but the highlight of the trip is really the restaurant. This Bistro is as good as anything...

Townsend is our favorite area of the smokies- quiet and well preserved. The Dancing bear cabins has been our go to destination for many years. Private, quiet and with a Ralph Lauren feel we just love them! We enjoy the hot tub as well as the well stocked fireplace. I highly recommend!!!

Awesome time. We wanted to relax and enjoy the weekend. Staying here at Dancing Bear was exactly that....And more! The room was perfect size. Everything was nice and cozy. The hot tub outside was perfect on our cold evening. And the fireplace was so relaxing and cozy. We will be back soon for sure.

We have stayed in the smokies a dozen times and usually stay off the edge of a mountain with views. We decided to stay at the dancing bear as it was close to our route. We first were attracted to the allowing of just a one night stay. That is atypical compared to our other rental experiences. Being fairly experienced...

We booked Sugarlands I - King for a six-night stay over Christmas and could not have been more pleased. Everything was new, sparkling clean, and carefully thought out for our comfort ... luxurious feather bed and linens, enormous shower with the rainfall showerhead (tall enough for him!), well-equipped full kitchen for meals and snacks. The Christmas Eve menu and wine...

Tastefully decorated. Peaceful surroundings. One great room with bed, cozy bedding one sinks into, a fireplace, couch and several chairs, mini kitchen with fridge and sink. A continental breakfast is kept in fridge for next morning. Porch and hot tub. Can also walk to their second restaurant if you prefer breakfast other than continental offered. Biking/walking trail at the entrance....

We chose a one room cabin with adjoining bath and walk in closet. One end of room has a luxurious bed. Other end had a couch facing a wood burning fireplace. Porch had hot tub but too cold out for us to try. Fire was ready for lighting. Extra wood is handy nearby. Small refrigerator was useful for putting leftovers...

I highly recommend the beautiful Dancing Bear Lodge. We stayed in the LeConte cabin which is spacious, has a real fireplace in the living area, very comfortable king bed and full kitchen. The accommodations are well-appointed and nicely private. We enjoyed the split wood fireplace ready on our front porch. The staff members were extremely helpful especially Colleen, who provided...
