A cozy fire burning in the breakfast room fireplace, candles softly flickering on the beautifully set table laden with fine china and crystal, a colorful flower arrangement in a unique glass vase, and the aroma of a delicious breakfast soon to be served. This is the prelude to a wonderful day at Gracehill. If the weather is cooperating, breakfast is...

My wife pokes me, "Give it a five. You have to give it five stars." Problem is, I've travelled a lot, and five stars is something really special. The fact is, I couldn't give Gracehill anything less than five stars. There's not so much as a water spot on the tub. It's exquisite. The home is very large, with just...

My husband and I have have traveled many places and we found Gracehill to be one of the most relaxing get aways we've ever had. The views were breathtaking, the room was exquisite in decor, and the breakfast was scrumptiously delicious. The owner was very friendly and gave us that Disney World hospitality. If you know anything about Disney's customer...

This truly is heaven, you're high atop a mountain, above the clouds hugging the valley below - the mountain vistas are breathtaking! I don't believe in perfection, but I have to say Kathy has created something so very close to it. Every room in this Bed & Breakfast is beautifully decorated and the balconies afford everyone the opportunity to sit...

This was probably one of the most relaxing stay we can remember. Life can be demanding, especially during tax season, so taking a break where we can completely shut down and recharge is invaluable. This is certainly a place where we could do that. Just love the view. The mountains were in clear view. None of that "smokey" mountain stuff...

My wife and I have gone to Gracehill for the last 5 years for our anniversary, along with a couple of our friends. We plan on returning for as many anniversaries as possible! Gracehill is THE B&B to visit. It feels like we are staying with family there. The B&B is gorgeous, the views are magnificent, and you can't beat...

The first time I went to Grace Hill was for my 1st wedding anniversary. My husband and I were introduced to Grace Hill by some friends who raved about the wonderful view, food and hospitality. Thus began and now 5 year running tradition. It truly is a "home away from home". From providing the best routes to get where you...

I've already written a review for Gracehill, but Kathy deserves even more positive feedback. This is THE place for a quiet, relaxing long weekend or an outdoor vacation. The rooms, location, service and food absolutely cannot be matched. We always go during the winter, but it's beautiful year-round, as each season has its own events and activities to offer. The...

In May of 2010, I made a reservation for four nights in late June for my husband's birthday. The owner's mother took the reservation by phone, and I never received any email or written confirmation by snail mail, but they charged my credit card for almost $600 (50% of a four-night stay). Less than a week after I made the...

I am at the PAII conference in Charleston, SC a yearly international B&B convention. While here I received notification from Trip Advisor of this review. What is ironic, I had sat in a class a couple of days ago that advised the innkeepers if we didn’t have at least one or two “bad” reviews, potential guests would think we were...

This is a quiet diamond perfectly perched high on a mountainside with an amazing sunset view every evening! Owner and Innkeeper Kathy Janke has addressed every detail--making our stay--well, perfect! The rooms are beautifully and most creatively appointed. The beds are luxuriously comfortable. I have never seen so many butterflies in one garden--ever! Breakfasts were beautiful, bountiful and delicious! Kathy...
