Very nice park for camping. Camping pads are very nice, high and n spite of a thunderstorm we remained dry. Public facilities are in need of refurbishing but other than that it is a very nice park to visit.

We stayed two nights in cabin #3 in late October. The weather was beautiful and so was the park. The cabin was great. Everything you need, including a cast iron skillet is here. Two big bedrooms with four big beds. One King and three queen size. The. Sunken living room had a nice gas fireplace and we watched the deer... More

The cabins are lovely, clean, all essential utensils & towels provided. The stay was very comfortable. We enjoyed an early morning stroll & spotted a deer near the cabins too. Just wish they had provided a toaster and more soap bars. The private balcony was quite dirty which we didn't plan to use much anyway but the kids had plans... More

We drove through the park a couple evenings and saw lots of wildlife. Then we rented two canoes and a double kayak for the afternoon, have to say it was a great idea. We paddled up the coves and floated on the life vests . The water is clear and clean. Temp was great. Wonderful family time. The staff at... More

We frequent Tim's Ford lake every summer, but this is our first year to be campers/RV owners. The lake is spectacular for boat owners-it's a deep lake with lots of coves. The state park campground was a great stay for our family. Thank goodness we had one of the 4 sites with full hookups because the bathhouses weren't air conditioned... More

I wish we had time to explore the area. Used the cabin more like a hotel which really did not give us time to fully enjoy the area. Left early and got back late - worked the High on the Hog festival in Winchester. The staff was great when we checked in. The cabin was nice and clean and it... More

We stayed here for a weekend. The beds were much harder than I am used to, but I (& the hubby) had a better nights sleep than I had gotten in quite some time! The cabin had 2 bedrooms with space to sleep 8. Excellent shower with great pressure and just the right temperature. The cabin suited us well, as... More

The layout of the cabins was FANTASTIC, wish we could get the plans! We loved our time at Tim's Ford this February, and the fireplace and large windows made for a cozy winter getaway. We did not have a lakefront cabin which would have been nice. We can't wait to go back when it is warmer and ride the bike... More

My husband and I stayed here in June 2014. Loved the spacious two bedroom cabins that over look the lake. They also have handicapped accessible cabins. We enjoyed the pool with the kids and next time we will bring our boat to use on the beautiful lake. There is also nightly entertainment. All the cabins have two bedrooms but only... More

We spent a long weekend in one of the park's cabins and were thoroughly pleased with the accommodations and experience. I wanted a place to "unplug" and this was it as there is no net connections in the cabins and the marina connection was spotty at best. If you have to stay connected, rely on your data plan and hope... More
