I recently spent a long weekend at Rancho Cortez to celebrate a few birthdays. The people at the ranch were nice and friendly from the minute we walked into the office. We signed some waivers, and off we went to the arena. We were immediately greeted by Larry Cortez, the owner, who gave us a hard time about our shiny...

I arranged for 10 of our leaders to meet for 1 1/2 days at Rancho Cortez. The location is great - the staff is friendly and very welcoming. Everyone enjoyed the experience very much and I can wholeheartedly recommend it for business meetings and families, alike. They truly bend over backwards to make you comfortable and to make sure you...

Enjoyed my stay at Rancho Cortez, my cabin was clean and my bed was very comfortable. The meals were great, loved their freshly baked desserts and hot coffee. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I was there on business but this is an excellent place for families to stay at too. Lots of fun.

Never been to a place quite like Rancho, but it made a business meeting a wonderful experience. Great people that make you feel right at home, regardless of why you are there. The food was great, accomodations were clean and comfortable and the riding instruction and stories from the Ranch owner Larry, are second to none. Thanks for a great experience...

The Rancho Cortez is a credit to the family who dedicate so much time and energy to keeping the guests happy and occupied during their stay. The ranch provides a health/boot camp for some guests, a riding camp for kids and also paying guests like my wife and I. We decided to do something different as part of our 3...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in August. We stayed in one of the cabins which was very clean and pleasant to stay in and there was more than enough food provided which was very tasty. The Ranch owner, Larry, was excellent! He was so friendly and really took an interest in teaching you about the horses...

I brought a group of 20 Turkish college students to Rancho Cortez to experience Texan culture, ride horses for the first time and learn about life on a working ranch. Larry and Cheryl greeted us immediately upon arrival and quickly planned our cowboy agenda for the next two days. We used the bunkhouses and a couple of the private rooms....

I attended the fitness ranch for approximately 45 days this spring. I was very overweight and in poor shape and the ranch was a terrific place to get healthier. The accommodations were pleasant. It is a ranch in all senses of the word, so don't expect luxury. The trainers really cared about my well-being and did their best to accommodate...

I've never worked as hard as I did at Larry's Warrior Bootcamp and have never before gotten as incredible results! I work out hard with a personal trainer at my gym, but after returning from 2 weeks at Rancho Cortez, now barely break a sweat in my usual workouts. The staff at the ranch is very caring and very helpful....
