I cannot say enough good things about the Golden Buddha Beach Resort. I wanted a beach hotel that was secluded, just-the-right-amount-of-rustic, stylish, and on a deserted beach. We got it! The hotel’s website is intelligently discrete but its description is correct. Highlights: meeting the hotel...More
This place is just incredible, after years of searching in Thailand, this is the hidden gem, paradise that I have been looking for. The island is incredible. The hotel is so well run, clean, amazing food and a fantastic yoga teacher. We just had the...More
The resort is a collection of bungalows and a clubhouse built along a pristine stretch of the Andaman coast, along with a more protected bay for swimming (there's a great beach bar on this end). If you're arriving by sea (and not by jeep from...More

Hi Lomashann, Thanks for the enquiry. Im a representative of the resort. Most people are fine. In December the weather is generally a touch cooler with a nice breeze so it should not be too much of a problem then. All the houses are really quite open so you can benefit from the breeze. For the best breeze choose one of the sea front houses. A great house for a family with kids would be something like Baan Tonsai. I should say that all our houses have fans also.
We have loads of families with kids and never any problems with too much heat.
I hope this helps.
