Detailed Reviews
We stayed there because we fled the area due to hurricane Laura. And Mill Creek was the first place we found that had a spot for us. And what a place they are! Loved it and we were both very impressed with the beauty and the cleanliness of the whole park. The concrete pad was level and shady. The staff is excellent. My only wish was that they offered cable/satellite hook ups for overnighters. We couldn't get any channels to keep us up to date on the hurricane. But I would highly recommend this CG to everyone & have told friends about this place already - and we just returned yesterday. We'd even come here as a break from the daily humdrum. Good job, Mill Creek staff! That place is a beauty!

Love this resort. We stay here in our rv every time we come to Canton. Their pools are always at prime temperature, clean, and very relaxing. The laundry and restroom facilities are always clean, and their store has every convenience you may need. You also get a free bundle of firewood per stay. We enjoy using the paddle boats ($5) and fishing at the ponds. We haven’t stayed at the cabins, but family members have and they loved it. I highly recommend this rv resort.

This is our second time staying at Mill Creek Ranch Resort. From the clean, well-groomed common areas, to spacious parks, and a plethora of amenities, this place will be what you compare all other RV park to henceforth. The ranch boasts beautiful scenery and green spaces, little ponds, and something for everyone in the family to do no matter the age. It's wonderfully pleasant and affordable. We'll only stay here when we're in Canton!

Want to feel like you stepped back in time to a trailer home from 1996? This is the place for you! Comes with original sticky syrup throughout— walls and doors have never been touched with a cleaning wipe but have been touched by hundreds of filthy hands, so dirty you can see it with the naked eye!
So many activities inside these cabins, including “find the unwashed blankets” hidden throughout. We found one crumpled up inside a (sticky— of course) storage cube in the living room and another in the horror movie style loft area!
But wait... there’s more! Walk into the master bedroom and you will find a mattress from the 80s with a makeshift memory foam pad on top— you will quite literally get lost in your dreams as you melt into this sinkhole of a bed. Truly magical.
Have you ever used single ply toilet paper that disintegrates as soon as it gets damp? What about coffee that tastes like it was made from ground up particle board? How about a tv that streams channels for a solid 1 minute before having to reload? Mill Creek Ranch Resort (mostly ranch, not much resort) has you covered.
Do you like adventure and risk taking? The heavy vertical blinds came crashing down on our first night nearly missing our 4 month old baby. How about staying in a place with not a single bottle of hand soap?
For only $200 a night you can have all of this and more!

We have camped here many times always stayed on concrete pad with paved roads. This trip had to camp on gravel & paid the same price as concrete. Told full timers got concrete sites!! Never again I can stay elsewhere for alot cheaper!!
Use to have full timers stay on gravel. I'm not paying what they now charge had big increase 58.00 to 65.00 and charge the higher rate on Wednesday for trade days!

We had been to this RV park before Covid and had a wonderful experience. Last November as the virus was subsiding, we decided to go for their “Romance Package” fo our 16th anniversary. That was a BIG mistake! We got checked in and found our site way down in the broken roads and gravel in the back of the park. The trees were not trimmed for motor homes and they knew what we had. The pad was flat but not nearly as nice as the all concrete pads and roads in the front 1/3 of the park. We had a full time fifth wheel next us that was not very well kept. With the Romance Package, guests are suppose to get a dozen red roses and bottle of champagne but no one ever came after check in to bring ours. The next morning, I waited until 9 am and went to the office and they had a deer in the headlights look! The lady did not really know what I was talking about and had paid $50 extra for. Later back at my unit, they called and said the flowers had JUST arrived but I told them to keep them since the surprise was blown for our anniversary. They used to do vouchers to the Four Winds Steakhouse but do not do that anymore. We made our own reservations and had a wonderful meal! The day before we left, I went to check our statement and they had not taken the cost of the Romance Package off. I called the manager and she finally processed my refund for the package I did not ever get! The manager was very rude and condescending! I asked what people had to do to stay where we had before in years past and was told those sites were reserved for long term, a month or over, or other long term guests! People staying for just a few days are directed towards the gravel pit area! The ambience and pleasant attitude of this place a couple of years ago has gone by the wayside unfortunately! Also they advertise their numerous activities but things like the paddle boat on the lake require RENTAL of a life jacket! If you are visiting Canton, Texas for a few days, find another rv park in the area and don’t waste your money on the Millcreek Gravel Pit!

We arrived on Friday night around 8:00. It had rained a bit and that’s when we found out about the parking. You have to park at the lodge and then unload everything onto a golf cart which will take you to your cabin. Family of 5 and 3 dogs with luggage, on a gravel mud road. Didn’t work out so well. The cabin(tiny house) was great, it was clean and well maintained. Don’t plan on watching TV of any kind, it’s streaming ROKU and buffers every couple minutes for several minutes.
The park has a couple pools and fishing which were nice. They require a 3 night minimum during the trades days @ $290/night for a total of $1017.17. Overall, the beds were comfortable and the linens clean. The idea of having to park and call for a ride every time you need to go back and forth is to inconvenient for us. We definitely would not return. The cart paths were gravel but mostly just mud, prevented us from walking around to much so we were confirmed to the cabin.
The upper areas where the concrete roads and RV pad sites were great and it seemed those people were having a blast. The kids were riding scooters and bikes with a lot of room to play. NOT the case with the cabins just a mud pit.

Tiny cabins are nice but the road down to them is terrible. It had rained and there were huge puddles that forces you to walk in the grass which was obviously wet but not muddy. Also they said wifi wasn’t working because it was Trade Days weekend and everyone in the park was using it.

We first came to the resort at a friends invitation for the 4th. The first thing I noticed was the friendly and personable service from the staff and camper/workers. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The grounds are clean and well maintained. There’s plenty to do for all age groups. My older kids enjoyed the pool, paddle boats and kayaks, and the large chess and Battleship games. My husband and I loved the trails to Walk. We all enjoyed it so much we came back two weeks later for a week, bringing my parents and some friends. We’ve even inquired on monthly rates with plans to come back and stay awhile.

We stayed at Mill Creek Ranch from December thru mid March. The park was clean and the people staying there were all very friendly (as is normally the case anywhere you go in Texas!) Also, the employees there were very helpful and friendly as well. If you are travelling with children I would highly recommend this park, it has a great playground, swimming pool, paddle boats for the small lake, and they have a ton of bicycles for your use. I would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises.

I don’t know. I’ve never fished there.
Yes, look at their website.
Hi there, well we have several different style cottages and with that the bathrooms are different. We have some larger bathrooms and some smaller ones. We have just a few with bathtubs and we do not have any Jacuzzi tubs. I suggest if you call, ask the representative who is helping you with your reservation for a pet friendly cottage and one with the larger style bathrooms. :)
Hi Jennifer, yes we have WI-FI and it is an additional fee of 5.00. We do have DVD players in the cottages and we even have movies to check out for you at the Grand Lodge. :)
Hi Rebecca, yes they all have a full sized refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher :) and plates, cups, mugs, silverware and utensils for cooking. Pot, pans ect. Coffee maker, toaster, knives and cutting boards. Everything but the cook!
