The Hudspeth House is a an absolutely delightful accommodation. The house is beautifully appointed. Our room on the first floor was perfectly comfortable. The room even had two, TWO, chairs with arms in which you can sit and read. A rare provision anymore. Jill and Van are the consummate hosts, and the breakfast is light and lovely. If we are...

It is nice to have a couple of chairs in a room. Funny you mention that...my mother always made note of B&Bs that offered that in an accommodation as well. Thank you for staying with us!

Stayed at the Hudspeth House when visiting Palo Duro Canyon. The owners made allowances for our food allergies at breakfast--yummy, orange-flavored french toast. The beds were comfortable. Was grateful that is only 15 minutes from the canyon. Robbie tK

Thank you so much for bringing your teenage granddaughters to Canyon. That time spent together will be a fond memory for each of you. We also appreciate how respectful and mannerly they were to us and the other guests.

As a person who grew up in Canyon, I always stayed with family on my visits home. Since my parents passed away, we occasionally find reasons to head back that way. We tried Hudspeth House years ago - Jill and Van made us feel like we were home again. So every visit we make now must include our stay at...

When you guys are at our doorstep, it's like seeing family. It's always a treat to see you and we are so proud to have some of Linda's talent displayed in our hallway. Her western drawings and darling book is a treasure to us.

Let me begin by saying the Jill and Van Shelton are the kindest, most gracious hosts. From the moment we stepped across the threshold we knew were totally welcome. The house is *beautiful*, our room (#4 The Chloe) was well furnished, inviting and the bed was wonderful. It was the first B&B we can ever remember where we received fresh...

My goodness, how we appreciate the kind words and specific comments you have shared. It was a pleasure having you stay and we enjoyed seeing your pictures of the Bison at Caprock Canyon State Park. You really utilized your time well during your visit to the panhandle. Thankfully, a "no horn zone" passed last fall and we no longer have...

We stayed here after a day of hiking Palo Duro Canyon State Park. We stayed in the O'Keefe Room. I highly recommend this room. It runs along the front of the house above the covered porch. It is basically two regular rooms put together; one room serves as the bathroom and the other as the bedroom. Therefore it is one...

When you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to spend the night in Canyon, you will be more than pleased if you choose Hudspeth B&B. Delicious breakfast also. The claw foot bathtub is such a wonderful way to relax after being on the road all day.

So interesting to hear about the Navaho mission trip you were headed to. If this is an annual event, we hope you stay with us again next summer.

This is a wonderful B&B. The home is historical having been constructed around the turn of the century. It's down the street from West TX A&M Univ. The rooms are well appointed and decorated. Breakfast was outstanding. The hosts (Van and Jill) are very friendly folks and make sure your stay is perfect. If we find ourselves in Canyon again,...

Jill and Van are wonderful hosts; knowledgeable about all local sites (lots to do) and their hospitality is genuine. The breakfast is fantastic! The design and deco are perfect and in-time with the age of the house. There are so many little things that makes it feel like you are, indeed, guests in their home. The additional perk of being...

Thrilled that you got to experience small town 4th of July. 30,000 people come to watch the morning parade and our porch does give guests the perfect view. Maybe you can make it an annual trip.
