Watch the spectacular sunsets from your cottage or the shore. The Cottage Cove Provincial Park is within walking distance of the cottages. The seals frolic in the water when the tide is in, and sunbathe when it is out. Enjoy finding treasures on the rocky shores of the bay.Rocky Shores & Seals boasts two full housekeeping cottages on the beautiful Bay of Fundy in Cottage Cove. The pine interior makes this a cozy stay. The large grounds allow for a game of croquet, horseshoes, or running areas for children.Blue Heron has 2 bedrooms with double beds and can sleep 6; Otter Cottage has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and can sleep 4. Otter cottage is fully wheelchair accessible. Both cottages have a pull-out sofa. All of your needs are met at Rocky Shores & Seals. Both cottages have fully stocked kitchens, including plenty of coffee, tea, salt, pepper, sugar, paper products, dish soap, etc. Quality linens are provided, as well as shampoo, soap, etc. Wireless internet is available for a fee. You'll find a TV, DVD, clock radio, telephone, gas BBQ, outdoor firepit, picnic table and much more! All you'll need to bring is your food and clothes. You are welcome to host your family or friends for a picnic or dinner. There is much to see and do in the nearby Annapolis Valley such as whale watching in Briar Island and Digby, golfing on one of the many nearby courses, or touring one of the many historic towns or villages in the Valley and along the Bay of Funday.

Absolutely stunning cottage and what beautiful people! I do not have enough words for how wonderful, clean and so much fun Rocky shores and seals cottages is!
The otter cottage which is fully wheelchair accessible and barrier free was the first cottage I’ve been able to stay and be completely comfortable in (being in a wheelchair). It really felt like home away from home.

We stayed at Otter cottage and were very pleasantly pleased with the lovely ambiance and cozy feel upon arriving. Right by the water, you could enjoy a walk and the smell of sea air. It was obvious that the proprietors take time to think of all you may need. Able dishes, cookware and every household item you may need including an air fryer! The place was very clean and organized and if you may have forgotten your shampoo, no worries, they had you covered. The beds were confortable with lots of additional blankets if required. Our getaway was so relaxing and we most definetely will return!! Anyone who is considering these cottages should not think twice. You will not regret it 😉

Comfortable, well-equipped, cozy accommodation. Very close to the water. Good location in Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, within driving distance to Kejimkujik National Park. The Wi-Fi service was OK. The TV wasn't working, but for a 3-day trip we didn't need it.

This was my first cottage rental, and now I'm afraid I'm spoiled for life. The place came with everything I needed and more! The cleanliness was amazing. The bedding and towels were clean and fluffy. My daughter and I enjoyed the sunsets over the beach.

This was a great place to stay. A beautiful and well equipped cabin with two separate rooms and a great bathroom. There was a nice little kitchen that had everything a chef would need. We saw nice ocean view and even some seals one morning. Our kids loved the TV and we had a great covered porch with BBQ and the fire pit was great too.

Great location, clean, had extra items like coffee fixings-bug spray-flashlight. Could use a detailed map of the area, instructions on how to get to the Hwy 101 entrance, and how to lock the windows fully. WiFi was iffy at times. Owner was very attentive to our needs. We want to return.

Thanks very much for taking the time to review. Yes, some of the windows ARE tricky! I will put a small instruction for how to get them closed tight and locked. You need to push in on the bottom as you are putting them down - like you said - it's tricky. The map of the area and how to get back to the 101 is a great idea, we will put one in the cottage for next year. We're glad you enjoyed your stay. There actually nothing to want for...I spoke to Karen & mentioned..no place mats..Oh but there was..They were in the shed..Put away for Covid 19..So we just used a couple of the multiple dish cloths.. Very cozy well equipped cottage, sitting up the driveway looking over the Bay of Fundy.. Certainly a cottage to come back too.. Close to many places of interest...Town of Middleton..very convenient...And Greenwood..every store you could possibly need or want..A Digby a nice drive away..to buy your delicious Digby Scallops. A day trip to Kejimkujik National Park..another to Annapolis Royal..& a trip to The Historic Gardens..Perfect place for a perfect visit..

I highly recommend Rocky Shores & Seals Cottages! The owner has provided absolutely everything and I mean everything you'll need for your stay! We just had to bring our food! We saw the seals popping their heads up out of the water and looking at us...so cool!! Very clean and quiet! I will definitely stay there again!

The Rocky Shores cottage was our favorite accommodation from Digby to Cape Breton. We had spent a week in Nova Scotia, and the Rocky Shores provided a great relaxation after a busy day of sight seeing. The cottage was very clean, well supplied, and the owners put your stay first, .....with every amenity you need for a short or long stay. We picked up groceries 10 minutes away, which kept us close to the Bay of Fundy for our 3 days while at the cottage. We will definitely stay here again on the next trip.

"Both cottages are awesome, quiet, comfortable, clean. The view is excellent from either cottage. A little bit more room in Blue Heron cottage, however, both are very cozy!"
