Great location downtown, great staff, very comfy bed, lobby is a little small and crowded but there's a large lounge upstairs with plenty of spaces to spread out and relax. Lots of boutique extras like milk and cookies, cocktail reception, etc. The hotel rooms aren't huge but they are very adequate and nicely furnished. The tub in the bathroom was...

The hotel is unique - housed in the original Mobil headquarters. Posh lobby and efficient staff. The cocktail reception was a nice touch. We missed the milk and cookies - but would have loved it. Located in downtown, it's surprisingly quiet.

I stayed the night of the Heart of Texas where I was a competitor and after dieting for weeks prior I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the COMPLIMENTARY milk and cookie bar that night and breakfast bar the following morning. The service and hospitality was stellar, the room service and selections where superb!!!

Getting employees of the Magnolia Hotel to do anything more than their basic job description will be met with a "bothersome" attitude. We had to beg and become the "pesky guest" just to get a cup of hot water from the kitchen at 4:30 am and again at 7. We were told the hot water wouldn't be available until breakfast...

My wife and I live in Dallas and our stay at the Magnolia was a special treat for her birthday. Unfortunately, two days prior we started to get a cold. I wanted to keep our reservation because we looked forward to spending time together (away from our toddler) at the wonderful hotel. Everything was fine and dandy until I needed...

I was in Dallas for an event at the convention centre so this was a great place to stay -- literally an 8 minute walk. Plenty of restaurants around the area - though Dallas downtown is somewhat empty after hours. Staff were great -- the first room I was given was on the old executive floor (building used to be...
